Not negative just a lot of realism in what he said.

And that is not allowed here.

In the next few days, there will be 4 million cases and 400,000 deaths.

Shocking - the cases are beginning to take off again.

    What is wrong with you?
The holding pen in the "relaxations" thread has been breached again. They think this is some sort of victory over the evil shadowy cabal who run the world.

The rest of the country are just hoping that the government and public health get the balance right in the coming weeks as we move into the next phase of co-existing with this thing.

I’m actually surprised we’re advancing so quickly. Tony must be fully convinced now.

    When are the barbers open!

So it only happens in a small box?

    What about an elevator?

To say spreading by talking doesn't happen is stupid. It does happen.

As I’ve repeatedly said, the environmental conditions matter. Everything you’ve posted only confirms this. For you to keep insisting that merely talking - with no other contextual considerations - spreads the virus by contaminating the air “for hours” is either wilful ignorance or gross stupidity on your part.

And the fact that you’re posting scientific reports to back up your misunderstanding, while repeatedly claiming that scientists know nothing, is laughable.

Yeah but it's all with social distancing in place. It's a long way from "normal".

Have they said when barbers, beauticians etc can open & under what conditions?

They've pushed that back to October. Long hair provides a better barrier against picking up the virus. It's been advised men grow long beards as extra defense.

If l heard it right the government are still going to pay the wage subsidy scheme to businesses until the end of Aug even after they re open back up , that's 3 months of paying 85% of practically the whole countries wage bill ,, seems nuts

There is conditions around it, it isn't a blanket payment

All retail shops with street level access can open on Monday.
Extended travel, 20km or county border, whichever is larger.

Tony not in great form today, just slapped a journalist down curtly telling him schools are not in the hospitality industry!
