Based on the oil on the ground, it's been there a while!

That could be just 5 minutes worth knowing those things!

Man, that Carina looks mint. Although the exhaust looks like one of the rubber hangers is gone, or something. Or maybe it's the angle of the tailpipe that makes it look that way.

Interesting too the size comparisons between older and modern cars. The Yaris, a little runaround is nearly towering over the Carina, a family car!

I’d love a Mk1 cabriolet. Came close to getting one on a few different occasions but never did for one reason or another. That looks a lovely example. Right weather for one too

I think I've got the hang of posting images now rather than links; hopefully it works..
saw these in Greystones over the weekend.
The Escort comes up as a 1.3 on cartell, but from the sound it made I suspect there's something beefier under the hood.
Not sure what the 'unknown' is - some sort of Daimler?

Your 'Unknown' is a late '50's MG Magnette ZB.

also spotted this beauty - I thought it was a Maserati Khamsin but turns out its a Bitter, gorgeous looking piece of 70's exotica.
Bonus 500 Abarth in one of the pics too

I think that Bitter was at Terenure last year - or maybe there is two red ones in this country

I may be wrong but I taught the one at terranure was more wine.

Gorgeous car, surely must be the only one in the country?

Didn't notice that, but it was hard to escape the glorious Tesla :p

Oh and without looking anything up, wasn't the Bitter an Opel Monza 6 cylinder 3l pretty much underneath? One of my favourite cars in the 70s and early 80s

I really, really, really should .....not have sold mine in the 90s....... :(

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”
