I think that any transmission between people and pets has been from people infecting their pets, rather than pets infecting their people.
I think this is the situation. People unintentionally infecting their pets by coughing or sneezing nearby the cats. A lot of cats like to roam though. If an infected cat passes it onto a neighbours cat and that cat brings it home.

The governor also reported another 73 children with same syndrome.

That's the nature of the issue. No one knows enough about this to know all the complications that might arise in varying categories of infected.

Reading through the COVID19 support groups on fb is a real eye opener.
This disease drags on and on. People there with it suggest adults get a similar form of the Kawasaki syndrome, and it's approx 4 weeks into the infection.
God though there are people there weeks 6 and 8 still with symptoms.

Chinese soldiers were trashing dogs to death back in February? Why were they doing that? Were the dogs getting infected?

God, and some governments were aiming for herd immunity as if its a little cold.

BBQs everywhere today! Restrictions unofficially suspended for most.

    Enjoy the freedom!

I had a bbq but own family. Nothing wrong once you stay on own patch.

But there's no indication AFAIK that a pet has infected a person?

Obviously, patient zero was a result of a jump from animals to humans (leaving aside the lab escape theorists), but I don't think there's any evidence for the reverse route from cats/dogs to humans.

Those behind the lockdown (prison terminology) are not capitalists. They abhor the idea of democracy and have nothing but contempt for the general public. They are the super rich and unelected technocrats. They want a digitized communistic system ruled by “experts”and the eradication of the middle class. It’s a power and wealth grab along with a massive dose of social engineering to pave the way for their aims. Think East Germany on steroids with far more advanced tech for surveillance. Zero freedom of speech and the total erosion of basic individual rights. That’s the future being prepared for us.

    Communists are behind the lockdown?

God you have to read some awful brain dead drivel on this site at times.

And your evidence for all this stream of consciousness outpouring is what exactly?

You are right. There's no information available on transmission from pets to humans.

The way I see it though is that, they can pick it up from people. Surely a reversal could happen from animal/pet into human/owner. If someone was to get close enough to an infected animal.

Wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution?

How will everyone get to work when business opens back up? Social distancing not possible on public transport in reality...

Loads of partys all evening where I live.

Sooner they open the pubs the better as then all be in the same place.

It's truly bizarre what mammals we decide to eat and what ones we decide to treat as pseudo-human beings (and varies greatly between countries).

We tend to not eat carnivores. Herbivores are OK, as are fish, and of course vegetables and fruit.

I know what you are saying, but doesn't sound like pubs will reopen anytime soon, well they might but I doubt many would enjoy it much anymore with social distancing in place.

I went for a walk at about 5 o'clock around my area, and it was like being in McDonalds working in the kitchen, the waft of BBQs was everywhere.

But what the heck, as long as they didn't have all and sundry around, who cares. And the weather was perfect for that too.

People have to enjoy themselves whatever way they can now within the RULES!

And where would they go when the pub closes.

TBF the global middle class was always going to be f*ucked by this.

It's not on the front line (i.e. not doing anything useful) and hasn't accumulated quite enough capital not to worry about Covid-19.

Still better off *by miles* than those below, so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

The super-rich want communism - go figure!

Their various NGO mouthpieces have been discussing and writing about it in their publications for decades. Ireland is a signatory of Agenda21, maybe you should read that one first. rebranded back in the early eighties as environmentalism when it became clear that the failure that was the Soviet Union was on the way out. Gorbachev rebranded himself as an environmentalist almost immediately after the fall of the USSR, just in time for Rio 92 when agenda 21 was put on the table. This plandemic is nothing more than a big leap towards a technocratic society based around Marxist philosophy.

The news about cats is not new.

Are there any more studies to see if it can jump back from cats to humans. How about cats transmitting to cats.

I get it. Governments don't want to cause fear and panic in people but we also need to be told the truth. I know what to do. Keep away from any tinker begger cats but how about others?

I would be afraid if cats meet up to hiss at each other. If one of them is infected and then the other cat carries it back home to their owner.

There was a dog in Hong Kong who had the virus too. That would be more dangerous because they usually love licking their owners.

Of the 4,086,503 SARS-2 cases, how many have been identified as a cat to human transmission? You are allowed to start worrying when it reaches 1/100th of a percent. Don't wake me up again until then, please.

I think there is one guy with multiple accounts - this plandemic crap keeps getting posted, either that or there is a lot of deluded people in Ireland. Or maybe they're not in Ireland...
