    None.

Or rather before going on reputation check if there has been a recent takeover or new CEO and check the reviews of recent products.

Far too many company's biggest asset is the brand which makes the a target for asset strippers and CEO's and shareholders whose interest is a short term return rather than keeping the company solvent.

Sony. Found an old walkman recently whilst going through the attic. Lashed a few fresh batteries in and was as good as new

Canon. Love all my cameras i have bought over the years. Sony. Great headphones.

Samsung, maybe not as good as Apple ( I don't like itunes so was always Android ) but I have a 200 quid phone that is fine. Maybe I don't need a more expensive one. Also really like their tablets. Never had a problem with any Samsung product.

    Patagonia, Century fishing rods, Bellstaff,
Bowers and Wilkinson, Shimano fishing reels, sage fishing rods, Yamaha...

All good quality products and especially the sage fly fishing rods.
You could trash the Sh1t out of them, I do have a gentle cast but I've caught plenty of tree's.
I bought Grey's fly rods and broke two in tree's.

Bellstaff wax jackets are almost bullet proof, I won't review the rest lol

I thought it was only Bosch blue tools that were actually real good with the Green stuff being pretty standard. Think Makita and milwaukee tools are the very highly rated brands by the trades (when they think it's not going to get nicked by someone!)

German Bosch appliances are always rock solid, no issues at all.

Apple have done me well too, got 11 years out of a Macbook, purchased a new one last week and the build quality is just blow-away. Their iPads are in a league of their own.

Yale also a great company, have never heard anyone at my work badmouth them.

I went to their Christmas party years ago. I got locked. Tried to get into another place but was turned away.

You should have availed of their lifetime warranty on the first one.

I've found them a great company to deal with, accidentally broke one of their rods when closing the boot of a car one time. Contacted them and was told to cut the damaged section into 6 inch pieces so it was cheaper to post and enclose a note with my return address.

One week later I had the replacement at no charge and I am still covered for my lifetime with the same rod.

I forgot to mention Vortex as well, they sell rifle scopes, binoculars etc. Top quality stuff. I bought a secondhand Vortex rifles scope from a private seller in the UK. It worked perfectly until I had an accident while out hunting and damaged it, completely my own fault.

Contacted Vortex and told them my predicament, same service, returned broken item and it was replaced with a brand new (actually updated newer) model to what I had bought secondhand.

Their lifetime warranty is not only unconditional but follows the item for life, no receipt or proof of purchase required.

For most things I'd agree, but I've went through three Experia phones in three years. A joy to use, but the slightest knock and the screen is bollixed

I got the Technic Space Shuttle about 25 years ago, it was £127.95. XMas prezzy, I was 11, dunno why the price stuck in my head, maybe it's that it was a right few bob at the time.

What the hell would it go for now?
