My reading of it and could be wrong. The passage claims all people will have the mark, the rich and poor, can only buy and sell when you have the mark.

What kind of mark is it? Go back then to ask, that’s impossible

It does not say Digital tattoo or describe how the mark would be placed on the right hand and what it looks like:)

It's a leap to claim the person wrote this because they saw thousand years ago future humankind would have a technology the likes we describe today. This passage alone does not convince me that person had a crystal ball, but its interesting passage nevertheless.

They're not a quote outlining this a digital/ buy and sell tattoo.
Its just says a mark will be placed on the right hand or forehead and people can only buy or sell when they have it.

I can see why some people on here believe it's a prediction of a future event.
I don’t see enough evidence here to believe digital tattoos is the mark of the beast- I would need to see something more conclusive.
Mark on the right hand is not identified here. Easy to jump to conclusions and believe its predicting a Quantum tattoo in the hand, but i don't see anything in the passage that confirms it.
You want a simple yes/no answer.

Even the last line open to interpretation. Are they claiming man is 666- what does that mean. Trying to solve this we be here all day. The only reason to believe its a future prediction, is a passage in the book of revelation, when the end times are near. It could be meaningless ramblings too and random events are just fitted into a nice slot for people. It could be Nostradamus type of thing with quatrains matched to things that happened this century and after he died..

This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.
