Even the last line open to interpretation. Are they claiming man is 666- what does that mean. Trying to solve this we be here all day. The only reason to believe its a future prediction, is a passage in the book of revelation, when the end times are near. It could be meaningless ramblings too and random events are just fitted into a nice slot for people. It could be Nostradamus type of thing with quatrains matched to things that happened this century and after he died..

This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

I can see why some people on here believe it's a prediction of a future event.
I don’t see enough evidence here to believe digital tattoos is the mark of the beast- I would need to see something more conclusive.
Mark on the right hand is not identified here. Easy to jump to conclusions and believe its predicting a Quantum tattoo in the hand, but i don't see anything in the passage that confirms it.
You want a simple yes/no answer.

My reading of it and could be wrong. The passage claims all people will have the mark, the rich and poor, can only buy and sell when you have the mark.
