Placed 270s in Clare, that's a pity can't see anything coming of that unfortunately

Between 100 and 200 for wexford. What are the chances of an interview and how long would it take? I was in top 1/3 category. Do they interview in batches?

79 for Meath & 309 for Dublin. Am 49 on EO panel for Kildare since last year with no movement so be interesting to see if this moves bit faster.

It said in the message , be called to interview as and when vacancies arise in your chosen county and order of merit . PAS don't know when vacancies arise and how many

74 in Mayo, 94 in Galway. Will be interesting to see how quick interviews will be amidst all this!

Has anyone gotten Louth or Meath ?

I got Louth about 30 mins ago, in the 150's. I've never applied for this before so no idea what that means I likelihood of getting an interview.

Congrats all. Anyone get their results for Leitrim..I got in the 260's..for a small County this doesn't sound like a good result..

Got in the 70s for Cork. Ranked the same after EO tests last year. Still waiting on interview for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 907 ✭✭✭1hnr79jr65

951 for louth, obviously my thinking way out on what they want, guess i have no hope for role.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,074 ✭✭✭AdrianG08

Frustrating thing is I answered how I imagined they wanted me to answer rather than being honest. Basically went the zero independent thought route, no bother with routine work, don't get bored etc..

Saying that, if I was honest i'd be alot further out than the 300s!

How does it work now, how many do they interview? Can you place change after interviews?

Is position 750 in Dublin any use? What’s chances of getting a job?

Order of merit ranking 1608 for Dublin, and my score was 5546. My first thought was no chance, but from posts on this thread seems like it's actually quite decent?

Be a proper laugh if I end up with a Brexit job since I'm a Brit :D

Brilliant score. Mine was 5881 so quite a long way off. Congrats..

Could someone explain something you know this order of merit.

So say your 200 in your county and you wait as posts arise how long does this order last like does it disappear after 2 years etc or when another Clerical officer campaign opens?

    Anyone waiting on Sligo?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26 MCLAW

    Well done everyone ðŸ‘

These competitions baffle me, I scored much better for the previous competition. I score really well in the assessments. Score is way to high for both counties which are slow enough counties to begin with. Wish they'd go back to old way of eliminating candidates..

    Good luck with interviews

    1093 for Galway

Should probably call it a night so.

Placed 2nd in Galway for TCO last summer so I don't know what I was at with the online test this time.

No. All competitions are independant and can not influence others

Rejecting a job in your first preference will bar you from your second preference but not the other way around.

Are you sure? From the email I received - Candidates will be contacted regarding Stage 2- Interview as vacancies arise in accordance with their order of merit. Please note that candidates will only be invited to sit Stage 2- Interview once, irrespective of the location choices applied for.
