Since events are starting to be announced and it will be spread over 4 months, thought it might be handy to have a thread to keep a track of it.

Bringing the world together to celebrate video games from the comfort of home. Summer Game Fest is a season of digital video game events from publishers, select playable content, in-game events, and more to be announced.

OUTRIDERS BROADCAST

RPG-shooter hybrid thingy from People Can Fly (Painkiller, Bulletstorm). Set to be a monthly broadcast.

XBOX 20/20 EVENT

Series of monthly events from MS. June event should be low-key (July is supposed to be the big one for games).

IGN EXPO DAY 1

Full day of previews, trailers etc. Confirmed games; Blankos Block Party, Mortal Shell, Observer: System Redux, Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, Spellbreak. Also reveals for three other games.

GUERRILLA COLLECTIVE

Reveals and announcements from indie studios and mid-sized publishers, e.g. Larian Studios, Coffee Stain Studios, Thunderful, 11 Bit Studios. June 6 and 7 will be press conference-style briefings. June 8 is a full day of developer interviews and gameplay demos.

Read a headline today that some pro skater has said there's going to be a new Tony Hawk game this year (and, I'm sorry, a Skate mobile game).

A few piqued my interest there. Aside from Valhalla which I am really looking forward to, I do like the look of the next Yakuza and Scarlet Nexus looks fun. Hopefully it's not a souls type game, doesn't look it. Bright Memory Infinite could be good too.

I would give my Beyond Good and Evil 2 plea but I think they've changed it so much it barely resembles the original concept, even more than the Assassins Creed games which still have the hidden blade but not really a lot else.
Whatever they are doing with Prince of Persia might get shown too. But forget Splinter Cell for now.

Yeah, same here. I have no reason to think it will, but I'm hoping it takes some cues from the Zelda series. It'd be fairly disappointing if it turns out to be just another huge Ubified open world game albeit wrapped in a more cutesy skin.

Will wait until reviews are done considering the sh*tshow that THPS5 turned out to be.

That said, if it gets good reviews, I'm going to Christ Air off the roof of the San Francisco map. Always my favourite thing to do in THPS1.
