    We can travel 5km for the purposes of exercise. Sounds to me like that includes traveling by car to get to somewhere to exercise.

    Economy closed for another 2 weeks. Madness. Stats show under 40s arent as affected by this than the vunerable groups or elderly. But hey, keep them locked up.

    And before anyway slates me its perfectly acceptable to have a view that the economy is now more important than this lockdow.

    Correct once the exercise is still within the 5km. It was the same under the 2km limit.

    No it's not

    You can't drive to a location to exercise. That 5KM is your exercise area

    That means no driving. You cannot go for a drive withing the 5km.

    This May 18 gradual business opening is, of course, dependent on how well we have curtailed the virus?

    It will have been 7 weeks by the time people can go and see loved ones from a sensible distance without the threat of being fined / arrested.

    Lots of people are going through turmoil because of these restrictions and because of the vagaries around the exit plan - even now that it's supposedly been outlined.

    Who are you to belittle somebody else's experience of a completely unprecedented once-in-a-century global pandemic ffs? Just because you might be fine or in better circumstances than others are doesn't mean you're reacting emotionally in a more valid way. Be nicer.
