Why only 22 deaths in ICU? Would most deaths not be expected to pass through ICU?

That's the effect of nursing home spread.

36 is our highest in a single day but not a massive jump in positive tests is encouraging.
Maybe people will wise up and stay away from the holiday home this weekend, pretty sobering number.

The number of cases means less and less the more we gave found out about the testing numbers, to be honest. In terms of a gauge of flattening the curve anyway

Sweden remains an enigma. Limited restrictions and virus under as much control as most countries with tight lockdown. Looks like they got it right.
They have over four times the death rate of Norway.

Chief Scientific Officer in the UK saying it's possible the country is seeing the beginning of change in regards to the curve flattening.

It's absolute guff like that that pisses me off.. They're making a mess of it and are skewing numbers.

Only old people, that makes it grand.

Remember 1-2 week lag in transmission and a further 1-2 week lag in death.

So we should only see the reduction in death rate from around 3-4 weeks following our 'lockdown' measures. Hopefully we will be seeing the peak in the next 5-7 days.

We’re not out of the woods yet.

Indeed no, let that figure be a wake up to anyone who thinks we've beaten this or that we can return to some sort of normality in the next few weeks.

Restrictions will stay, I'd say. About 6.5% increase on the day.
