Bedside still trying to fight off this feckin' illness. I found out today that my mother is being tested tomorrow, she is showing three symptoms. Poor thing can barely breathe and is already in poor health. A tense few days await in the various Person households.

Look after yourself. My Dad has it, the good news is he is stable and hasn't deteriorated since yesterday. However, he has been moved into an isolation ward and is confused and disorientated.

*Hugs* wishing them both a speedy recovery , scary when parents get sick.

I get so infuriated when i hear of/see people not managing to distance in any way. It's not hard to physically keep a distance

Makes me want to puke Grem. I've barely been out of the house, but my living room window tells me that some are still not getting the whole idea. Still seeing loads of visitors calling to houses.

Now Covid-19 has hit this thread and that's a reality. I'm feeling helpless, but staying indoors as much as possible. Doing our bit in the G household, but really saddened to hear that some here are connected to it.

I'm just getting over Covid-19 myself, got ill around the 19th and finally well enough to bring my kids back from their dad's today. It's the most ill I have ever been in my life and that's including glandular fever 9 years ago. If it flattens a healthy mid 30s woman like this, it's terrifying to think of what it would do to the older generation or those with other conditions.

Location and travel/contact history? Seriously and out of curiosity? Glad you recovered.

Kitchen table/laptop watching The Black Hole from 1979. I saw it in the cinema at Easter time. The Easter Egg was the coolest egg package ever. A cardboard 3-D type thing. You could look in and see the spaceships hovering over the black hole. The Egg tasted ****e and nothing like Cadbury's/Rowntrees.:D

    Ya got it Grem!

Feeling a bit guilty posting my random crap considering where we are now, but I think we have to retain some semblance of our own simple reality.

I tested positive about a week, maybe two weeks ago, but I was sick for a while before that.
There is a great deal of variance of symptoms, duration, reoccurance, etc and some odd features but I don't want to speculate too much. I'm relatively young too but I had a couple of nights when I thought my number was up..on the other hand the reduced oxygen or elevated temperature made me delirious so it might have only seemed that bad at the time. It's a strange one. There were numerous cases of older and vulnerable patients making good recoveries which is really hopeful.and encouraging.

Bedside listening to the wind in the eaves and the rattly 1970s windows. It's fabulous.

Whenever mother's day was, Ive had a gift card since then and still havent spent it, that was the biggest sign that I wasnt myself :D

I am sure you will be more than happy to rectify that when we get 'out out'.

I love 'out out' such a mad little two word phrase, thanks for reminding me of it :)

    I quite agree.

Been in the doghouse most of the day, and apparently still am.But that's ok cause I got the sofa and Johnny Walker and even the cat is with me in solidarity. I know some here now have family members affected by this virus, and I do pray they all make speedy recoveries. I have kids back home in NY, who I constantly worry about, so can't imagine how you all are feeling.

Finished second bottle wine a bit fussy when I stood up
Got takeaway too, in bed listening to wind howling but I just want to blow off some steam. These quiet nights are not for me

Ya need loud music and a dance around the floor, clear the furniture first, stubbed toe breaks through any alcohol buzz
