I walk for exercise and I’m going to start again soon in my local park, following government guidelines of course

I’m finding the weather still absolutely baltic to do this though, I recently returned to Ireland after a year living in a much hotter country

What could I buy online to warm things up without adding too much bulk?

Above the waist is more straightforward as I can layer up, but it’s below the waist where it gets more complicated. I’m a male so I’m not going to wear tights below my tracksuit bottoms :-)

Men; how do you stay warm below the waist clothes wise for outdoor walks ?

    Suggestions and links welcome

    Thanks

In the old days men used to have to wear ladies tights to keep warm. The world has moved on and there's a huge amount of base layers you can buy for different temperatures and activities.

I go walking in shorts even in the winter , I balance by extra warm on top, if you have a hat , gloves , neck warmer, base layer, tshirt and hoodie you really should be good with normal bottoms whatever that is. Warm socks too maybe.

As mentioned, I’ve been living in a hot country so my body is finding the Irish climate quite tough :-)

Just wear your normal everyday clothes and put the tracksuit on over them to make you look sporty/athletic.

Fleecy trackies and you'll be grand.

Yep, or go with legging and shorts over even.
