How many hobnobs did you eat. Did you make up for the long abstinence.

    Bedside, wanting some hobnobs.

Good morning, lockdown still continues, numbers are generally still low.

Sitting here enjoying a nice cold Budweiser, non-alcoholic to be sure.

Should have stuck with the toffeepops :)

Now toffeepops from the fridge, definitely no later for those!

I’m in the kitchen, just finished some Readybrek and going to have coffee. Trying to be different today so it feels somewhat like a weekend compared to work days... going to 'meet' a friend for coffee over Zoom in a while and Then video call with my mum :)

Washed, dressed, makeup on,coffee drank with a couple of squares of whole nut chocolate, couchside admiring my clean windows...what to do now.I think I'll head to Aldi and Dunnes, I've a shopping list for both,so it will be a fast shop and out the gap.Going to tackle a few wardrobes and cupboards later ,do a nice dinner and try and find something on TV that will pass the night away.

Weather not great here today, cold and breezy but suits the latest update for the country, I'm in good form though and will be working on Monday which I definitely think is keeping sane at the moment, wont be telling my boss that lol.

    Have a great day lads.

Bad nights sleep, kept waking up not knowing where I was for a few seconds, pain in my lower back.

Deskside with the sweet stuff, that will make it better!

Two hours into a 24 hour duty, and tbh I'm delighted to be in work.

In work I feel like I'm doing something positive for myself and other's, sitting at home I find my moods ebb and flow. Now matter how strong you are I'd call someone either a liar or a fool if they're not getting some anxiety.

I've a family, as the father I feel I've to lead. I know my son is worried about me but I reassure him that although I'm 54 I'm a fit and strong 54 and I've a great set of lungs.. Anyway, I leave my anxiety aside mostly but my sleep has been disturbed. Getting to sleep isn't a problem but i'm waking up very early, mostly mid dream about CV19.

Ok, regarding what a Garda might ask you if you're stopped. I was stopped coming into work this morning, I was glad he didn't give me a free pass because I was in uniform (I was expecting a nod and a wave on). He just asked me if I was coming or going on duty (going on) and that was it really, no motor tax check (none of that rubbish).

Widder, I don't envy you taking your lovely dog on probably its last car ride. I've two beautiful dogs who I love with my life, I dread that day. Best of luck, I'll be thinking of you and your doggo

No plans for later, heck I'm on duty so probably coffee, coffee and more coffee.

Netflix recommend here, The English Game.

Ordinarily I detest soccer, can't stand the game so I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. Absolutely fantastic and worth a binge watch.

    Stay inside/flatten the curve.

Film 4 of 5 in the Pirates of The Caribbean series...
Think I'll start star wars afterwards.

Not sure I'll go out at all today...bound to be loads panic buying... don't want to get caught up in anybody's descent into madness

Gotta agree with you Makikomi, the English Game was a good show.

I’m gonna adopt a US phase here and sincerely say, “thank you for your service”

Cheers, I get what you say about the American thing. I hope when this madness is over the whole country can sit back and give itself a collective pat on the back for a job well done, except the gobsh*ts who can't just stay at home and watch telly.

I'm in awe at the unity shown in Ireland during this madness, humans are amazing when we come together to do good things.

Thank you for sharing the information above about the procedure at checkpoints, Makikomi.
I feel better when I have a mental picture of what's going on and what to expect.
And thank you re. my dog.

I'm sure we're all very proud of our defense forces (and all emergency services and gardai) .

Bedside with a coffee, thinking of ToffeePops. Love ToffeePops, they're on the shopping list :)

Feeling lucky I've a nice quiet home, isn't that weird? Also, pondering how this will end and how and if we will have changed as a society.

Planning the day's events.... Reading, cleaning, indoor weights session and a quick trot after. And perhaps a movie. Have a good one friends.

The weekly shopping trip was a bit surreal. But nice to see other humans.
Even had a chat with a few which is unusual for anti social me.

I'm sorry your dog is so unwell Widders.

@Mak thankyou for all you and your fellow soldiers are doing.

I had a little cry last night but am feeling better today. Right now I'm stuck to the couch watching rubbish television.

We will be ok. We will get through this.

so, no work today or tomorrow, so will stay indoors like everyone, apart from the dog walk.

I'm thinking I might enjoy self isolating at home more if I was just actually alone :pac:
