Anyone think all these famous people are pretending to have it to ,I dont know, shock the public into following orders, it seems too unlikely that so many famous people would contract when theres only a few million cases across the world

You will be pleased to know from 1st april Dublin Bus are getting a reduced service, a emergency Covid-19 timetable.
We have waited until 1st april to ensure that all bonuses linked to servivce levels in financial quarter 1 can be reached and paid out to managment in both DB & NTA.
In these difficult time, rest assure all Dublin Bus and NTA execuitives are self isolating and are safe and well provisioned at home.
When this Covid-19 plague passes we will come out of our bunkers and be ready to get whats left of Dublin moving once again.

Building sites will close due to this I'd say. Especially if DB only operate a Sunday timetable.

Or like I was saying, this could be way way more widespread than is currently thought.

Another grim read about the stress which health workers have to endure while combating the virus.

If you know any health workers please tell them you appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe.
Forty-one health workers in Italy have died from coronavirus since the outbreak there began, as medics work relentlessly to try to turn the tide in Europe’s worst-affected country.

The virus has infected more than 5,000 doctors, nurses, technicians, ambulance staff and other health employees. The majority were on the frontline in the badly affected northern regions and contracted the illness at the start of the outbreak when protective equipment was lacking...

A study conducted by Chinese doctors and published by the Lancet showed that 70% of health workers on the frontline in Hubei, the province where the Chinese outbreak began, suffered from extreme levels of stress, 50% had depressive orders, 44% had anxiety and 34% insomnia.

The users wont be able to pay in cash so...that's the end for the cartels which is the end of the drugs trade...because they need cash to launder.

Anyhow that's for a different thread.

Wrong, but for a different thread as you said.

I'd say people get complacent and think the gloves kill the virus.
I think most people wearing gloves have them for a trip to the shops, basically for one task.

I did not think many people for this all day wearing gloves category.

I think people who are barehanded would be more cautious. I know I am myself when I go to the shop.
I've seen people who have the best of intentions touching their face, wiping their eyes etc. I think it's less likely you do that if you are wearing gloves.
Obviously the gloves should be for one task only like going shopping, filling your car with petrol etc. but it's s good idea to wear gloves to protect yourself.

I imagine they have easier access to testing. Plus a lot of them lead lifestyles that will bring them into contact with a lot of random people on a regular basis as part of their jobs/life.

If people started faking I think someone would break pretty quickly. Too many of them for me to believe they are all in on it.

Why, how many famous people are there?

The likes of Boris would have more contacts per day than the average, so it doesn't surprise me.

Glad you think someone having the virus is funny.

I wish him all the best and hope he fights off this terrible illness.

The majority of people who have it have no symptoms. He has minor symptoms. Doesn't mean he has to be coughing up a lung.

What has he to gain from lying.

Yeah because it's not rampant in any other countries. The only positive I see is that many more people may have it than we think.

Without Googling, you can probably name less than 10 famous people who have it - some of whom are to me, famous only for having Coronavirus. I had never heard of some of them before - wouldn't have been able to identify Idris Elba out of a lineup before his Covid case!

Plus the likes of Johnson and Prince Charles just would probably never have been tested but for who they are

Mild symptoms, not everyone gets a cough, not everyone gets a sore throat, not everyone gets a headache. Some people get all 3.

No, they are just dumb enough to eat disgusting things like bat soup after being constantly warned how dangerous these types of eating habits are. And now everyone has to suffer because of their willful dumbness.

    No not dumb at all.

It was an illegal market. The local party and medical chiefs were sacked.

Once they recognised the potential scale of this they acted fast and likely saved millions of lives in China.

And they gave the rest of the world a lesson on how it can be beaten. Its a pity western governments didn't take heed rather than burying their heads in the sand and hoping it would go away while giving out about doomsayers.

And there's still a large number of heads in the sands.
