Except the price, quality control, service and spare parts issues, taking a €250 hit because you get a simple puncture, over the air automatic battery capacity downgrading, dangerous and misleading claims about autonomous driving, but apart from those and a few other minor details, nothing wrong with a Tesla.

Bollocks. You lost a fortune shorting the company or something? ;)

No, I don't go in for any of that fancy share market stuff, so no shorting loss. I have only lost a large sum of money on paper, which is of no concern as I haven't sold anything and have no intention of doing so.

I believe you just bought a Tesla S? I think my opinion is quite valid and not subject to any bollocks.

If Honda made something like a Tesla, but to Honda levels of reliability and quality, at a much lower price, I would be interested, but Teslas are exceedingly expensive, IMO, and I just would never spend that sort of money on a car, I'd rather put the difference into my next house. I don't borrow money to pay for cars.

Honda actually do make an EV these days. It's a very cool car and no doubt very well made. Unfortunately it's the most overpriced EV that money can buy...

Damn - oh well, I'll just have to go get that Lotus Evija, or the Pininfarina Batista - and then I woke up. ;)

I'd expect probably another dip before the halving, maybe one more opportunity to pick up sub $4k
I've a few small sat orders in around this level and below, if they get filled I'm happy with that

Yeah, I think we'll go below $4k again (and maybe below $3k) in the coming months. A lot of miners will stop mining if we stay this low for the next couple of months so will that delay the date of the halv(en)ing?

Anyone know what the breakeven price per BTC will be for the miners after the halv(en)ing? ($12k or something?)

    Orange pilled.

if the NYSE closes next week I wonder what effect that will have on bitcoin, etc and crypto?

Because this is the cryptocurrency section of the forum and XRP is not an actual cryptocurrency.

Same thing across the internet; hard to find people who aren't either an XRP fanboy or an XRP hater.

That is because it is largely managed by a central entity and aimed at being a tool for existing financial institutions. Two things which many crypto people will find don't belong to the world of crypto. But you also have people who thing it gives XRP a better potential use case than many other cryptos.

Except of course when their favorite crypto partners with a financial institution, or another centralised entity, or large corporation, or the people's republic of China

Whatever, as long as the price goes up so we can cash out to a real currency at a later stage ;)
