The worst thing I've heard abt this sh1t storm so far is in Spain over 65s can't have any more respirators fcukin awful

Worst for me too. Same as Italy. Wtf are we going to do? How many people have to die with this crap? If we (Ireland, UK) have a total lockdown of say 2 weeks, doesn't that mean that whoever in the country has it in their system will get it and either get worse or recover within those 2 weeks? You then end the lockdown, and strict measures to stop the virus getting in the country again at the borders. What am I missing? (I must be missing something let's be honest)

People are automatically recovered after 14 days of self Isolation. people in self Isolation are not in the figure though, only those released/recovered from Hospital. Didn't Dr Holohan say that they aren't releasing figures on recvered?
He said they are aiming to have info on recoveries in the next couple of days.

I keep comparing our situation to that of Italy's, they being the worst case scenario so far. On the one hand, we have way more cases than they did at three weeks in, but we're also doing more testing than they were at the time (AFAIK, open to correction on that).
Italy has done 275000+ tests in total.
Started with 2000-3000 tests per day and now more than 15000 per day

I'd say none because they don't get them from woodies / b and q or amazon. They get from industrial suppliers. The contract is worth a hell of a lot. The problem is other countries got there first. Germany banned export PPE.

Where do you think those places people are buying them off get them from. There is not 1 manufacturing plant for each. Case in point the place in Limerick they produce them for all markets. Do people really think it does not matter there coming scares and more expensive for me its not for the medical people

I think I've lost faith in us as a society seeing these actions the last few weeks.

I'm settled here now but by jaysus will be planning to move the fk out when I retire. Amount of gob****e, thick cnts around.

What you think the actions of the Irish public are unique to Ireland. Grow up
