It will launch on time. If an extra 10,000 watch this on launch day then it will be 10,000 less watching Netflix, Sky, Prime etc
Launch has now been delayed in France in accordance with government request.

This was announced last week. Nothing new about that. They were also supposed to launch with full 4K but again they respected the wishes of the EU & will reduce bandwith by at least 25 percent for a few months

If your model number is not on the list above, check your LG Content Store from your TV, consider using a streaming device such as Roku, Firestick, or other streaming devices.

FWIW I wouldn't take this as gospel , i.e. if your telly isn't on it don't panic. This seems to be a US list and I suspect the model numbers there are different there to what we'd get here.

I'll (unhappily) stand correction (because it means it wont work on mine either) but it says the app is webOS 3 based so should work if you have that on your telly

I'm going to presume there'll be a first month free offer for us mooks who can't afford the €60 launch offer that'll replace it once it goes live later tonight? :)

I can't remember what I got at the launch last year. It's going to be 7 days at least. A quick search says that in the US right now it's a Seven day trial

Sorry I wasn't having a go with my reply - more trying to put some minds (my own included) at ease because someone had posted that their telly wasn't on the list. Probably should have said it but thanks for digging this out too.

There will 7 day free trial same as it was with USA launch
You need to cancel before 7 days trial is over if you don't want to be charged €6.99 a month

    Monthly Subscription will be €6.99
    Annual Subscription €69.99

If you want the special offer annual price of €59.99 you need to sign up now as this offer ends today

Ah, 7 days is cool too!
I'd probably get what I want out of it in 5 weeks for €7 :)

Think that’s the countdown to the offer ending rather than the launch of the service

    Hopefully you’re right though
