i understand what your saying but id say the journolists and guards are getting this stuff sent to them anyhow. most of the stuff put on here is fairly well know so do ya not think there getting it sent to them the same way we are????

My brother is a guard and he says he gets sent what’s apps before the guards themselves even know about things

Maybe the odd thing Yeah but I’d say a good few the journalists guards come on here as do people who give the guards and journalists information because a lot of stuff in them big write ups do be posted here then there in the paper few days later. But yeah I agree some of the stuff is well known but some theories or just pure speculation that does be posted on this and then next thing it does be in the paper

a lot of the stuff thats on this is posted first on twitter on the usual accounts and all the journos follow these accounts so there seeing it there too... i agree they come on here and have a nose like the rest of us and maybe even join up some of the dots that they have been given from their informants. but i think its very rare that something really important is posted on this thats not on the other forms of social media...

Agreed, a few other gangland figures live local to the spot where the bag was dropped , cl lives close by as does his aunty and her son who rl is alleged to have threatened to shot because of who his girlfriend is/was

    That's not his aunty.

It use to all be posted here, journos and guards(not in an offical way) along with rival factions of different feuds were posting, but because of libel and the increased popularity of all the gangland treads, boards decided they had to step in and stop it, intials, speculation etc, that's why it all migrated to twitter, this place is still the bees-knees for Irish Gangland.

It’s funny the way ever since the murder of keane mulready every Tom dick and Harry came on this thread and now literally everything posted in the papers do be said on boards. Some of the journalists and guards are actually getting the info off here, the time keane was murdered someone suggested that maybe the bag was being dropped to cl house and straight away that weekend in the paper it was said that that’s what the purpose was and nearly took it word for word haha

No chance. Maybe on a very very rare occasion something popped up here first. Very rare. Your not the first person to assume what u have posted its been said on here plenty of times, you all are underestimating the gardai on their intelligence gathering and over estimating this threads value.

Anybody who follows gangland would have came to the conclusion about where the sports bag was destined for. If this thread wasnt active wasnt a thing, the news would have got the same conclusion as to where the bag was destined for.

I'm not putting the thread down, I love this thread, but the guards and media have manys and are very good at getting info, boards and this thread wouldn't be priority on their list. Even rural garda divisions nationwide have means and ways of getting relevant info on relevant issues.

Yes bus loads of informants and the CHIS scheme has proven to be very successful in some divisions. Over the years the media has had some high profile criminal informants, and to which gardai were unaware at the time. And in some cases the media have known of high profile garda informants too very very dangerous and careless.

Cork is at boiling point atm. Shooting and petrol bomb attacks on the Northside and a car stopped with false plates and a gun found inside with a Jerry can of petrol last night. Shooting in Mahon on paddy’s day aswell

There was also a house shot up in mayfield the night before the Mahon shooting with an on going traveller feud. 2 arrested but kept fairly quiet. You never really see that much gun activity in cork

Yeah gun crime but is only every so often but it’s quickly becoming the norm in the middle of everything else that is going on.

Only a month ago, there was shots fired at that estate in Cork too. Whoever they're looking for would want to start leaving soon.

Is'nt it absolutely disgraceful that €thousands are going to have to be spent on protective hoods for the guards because a bunch of low lifes are coughing and spitting into their face!
I for one would have no problem if these f*****s were put straight into jail with no bail if they do this.

I live there and the place is usually swarming with gardai if there is a serious incident. not a sign of them.

If all the shootings and killings that were called out here really happened we'd have a higher murder rate than Ciudad Juarez.
