Problem is that I do not believe it can even do that with any validity. All current tests are being carried out on a self-selecting population sample

We must have fixed interval testing of a statistically valid random population sample to get an reasonably accurate picture in order to make informed decisions.

That may be not have been a reasonable path to follow previously, but we must do it now with more processing capability coming on stream.

There are no easy choices in this but at least the data will be there to enable a better decision matrix. Whether we as a state are capable of making good use of it is another matter.

Whatever the decisions made, people will die and be weakened unnecessarily.

More probable that numbers will be lower when those decisions are based on reliable data.

I'd say none because they don't get them from woodies / b and q or amazon. They get from industrial suppliers. The contract is worth a hell of a lot. The problem is other countries got there first. Germany banned export PPE.
