    Sorry you're triggered.

    I'm disappointed not triggered.
I thought us Irish were better than that.

    No, you're triggered.

You don't want to see what is really going on.

Journalists are getting in to hospitals across Europe to show what is really happening.

Now, maybe after seeing imagery like that we might get the gang of scrotes indoors, or the horse racing industry to cop on or the government to start getting real on the measures needed.

It's obvious to some that we are not going far enough.

That's us in a few weeks.

I think I have a new life fear. Someone I love dies and a photo of me holding flowers is taken. Then Kermit posts it on here and starts accusing people of being triggered if they don't want to see it "how it is".

Fuk me. I can't imagine my grief being used that way. Whatever about the photos inside but the flowers pic is what makes a vile post.

I didn't take the photo and it's all over national media in Germany.

And it should be seen and it should be posted because clearly the photographer had permission to use it.

What a weak generation. Triggered so easily.

    UK Virus ALERT
The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent virus threat and have therefore raised their threat level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.” Soon, though, level may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even “A Bit Cross.”
The English have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out.

The virus has been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to “A Bloody Nuisance.” The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots have raised their threat level from “Pissed Off” to “Let's Get the Bastard.” They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its alert level from “Run” to “Hide.” The only two higher levels in France are “Collaborate” and “Surrender.” The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from “Shout Loudly and Excitedly” to “Elaborate Military Posturing.” Two more levels remain: “Ineffective Combat Operations” and “Change Sides.”

The Germans have increased their alert state from “Disdainful Arrogance” to “Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs.” They also have two higher levels: “Invade a Neighbour” and “Lose.”

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

Australia, meanwhile, has raised its alert level from “No worries” to “She'll be alright, Mate.” Two more escalation levels remain: “Crikey! I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!” and “The barbie is cancelled.” So far, no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level.

The Russians have said “Its not us”

Most of my posts on Facebook are jokes. Absolutely nothing personal. I have been sharing everything my brother posts on #staythefcuckhome. I have posted the video of the Italian newspaper with 10 pages of obituaries and also the bbc report of the coffins being transported in army trucks. I did that to show how important it is stay home.

It hit me hard the pics above of coffins laid out, and funeral photos. I don’t think I would share it as people are going through a lot. The hardest thing I watched and not ashamed to say broke down was a video of grandparents at a window saying happy birthday to their young grandson. The look of pain on the grandda was palpable. I haveNt cried since my dog died, and about 20 years before that. But I did as it made me think of my parents. But mainly I try and post positive things. Beatles, all you need is love and elvis singing you’ll never walk alone is my go to at the moment

France suspended the payment of rent and utility bills and our rent is capped which means we have to continue paying rent?

What the actual fcuk? It's inevitable that we'll be going into lockdown, this is the last thing people need.

I sent a whatsapp to my multi property owner landlord yesterday...this month at least I will pay you in full
As per his answer he was more worried about this than the virus...

I am a landlord and was quite surprised that my tenants paid their rent this month. They both work in hotels and I am presuming that their jobs are at risk. They are amazing tenants and have been in the apartment for 6 or 7 years with no issue and minimal contact. Whatever the banks decide to do (apartment is mortgaged) and if they lose their jobs and cannot pay rent, i will not penalise them. Hopefully there is a mortgage pause but if there isn’t I will take the hit. I can’t cover it but hopefully will be able to capitalise the arrears when this is over.

If they don’t lose jobs carry on as normal. Any landlord who tries to evict is a pr1ck. Houses and profit at times like this is irrelevant.

Our stats seem pretty good. Did we get a less severe strain of the virus or what?

No, italy has one of, if not the, oldest population in Europe who go around kissing each other on the cheek.

That, and we’re only getting started here.

Hopefully we can learn what works from others and try to keep our numbers low.

Another issue that Italy had was that huge amounts of elderly people, live in accommodation in apartments with close proximity to each other. It meant infection spread very quickly once in the complex.

Symptoms since Thurs evening/ Friday. Self isolating since Friday evening.

Was refered as a " fast track " patient for the swab test as I have an underlying illness, I was in London the week before, my mam had a transplant and cause I work in HC.

I was refered THREE times by my occ health nurse so I can be cleared and go back to work in the hospital i work in. My nurse contacted them herself today on behalf of the hospital and my consultant who refered me and no hope.

Rang the national ambulance service 4 times today and no help at all. I know they're doing the best they can but I'm just stressed now about my mum and not being in work where I'm needed ! So so anxious unfortunately and the self isolation jaysus my anxiety is out the roof. Midnight walks helping but I'm not sleeping now so back to my old anxiety pattern up til 6/630am. Plan on setting alarm for 10 am so I'll be wrecked for next sleep ugh

Sorry I know people have it a LOTTT worse but it's ****e being a sitting duck knowing what all my co workers are going through and I'm sitting in my room on netflix

I’m adopting the same behaviour I had when living in Asia. Shoes left outside. About 5 showers a day. And walking around the house (self isolating by myself) in a kimono. Seriously all I need is a pina colada and a cigar and I would be the spit of Del Boy.

That may lower your body's capacity to withstand infection.

I don't mind paying double next year, just let us get over this first. The last thing people want is to get sick and then have bills over us.

Not going outside though so limited exposure

Not really feasible normally when front door opens directly to busy street but not caring about robbed shoes at the moment. Obviously people are scared of touching others clothes so not a big risk

People all around the world manage to not wear shoes inside without leaving them outside their door?

Fair play to them. Not sure the relevance. I said I was doing what I used to do while living in Asia. It’s not something I did previously and not something I advocated anyone else to do. What other people around the world do is not my concern. I am doing whatever I think reduces the risk of bringing it into my house.

As an aside, I genuinely think I've had this in December / January, or at least a weaker version of it.

I looked back at messages I sent when I was very sick and then I vividly remember being worried about how I used to vape because my chest was sore for a good while. Loads of people around me had it and I was even wearing a mask because I was coughing so much before ending up bedridden for around four days. It was the worst I've ever been sick but I didn't think it was the flu. My brother here had it as well but not as bad.

Since I'm only a few hundred miles from China and we share a land border, it seems entirely plausible. In my near decade here, I've never seen so many people sick with what what was much worse than a cold but not full on flu.

Anyone know the wait time to get a test and then results, I was put on test list Wednesday evening by doctor due to contact with a positive person. No symptoms and it’s been over a week since contact.
