What was their maximum daily increase?

It was 676 yesterday! All down to number of tests (rather than actual cases).

Why should they pipe down and shut up. They represent around a quarter of the electorate. Pearse Doherty was very good on this on Virgin Media last night. They are entitled to their view and will have as much insight as any other party. The irony of you screaming pipe down and shut up to anyone.

Oh I know you from the other thread Sinn Fein fanboy (i think that’s the word you used towards me??). We don’t need them or want their opinions, they have nothing to offer. Zero, zilch, nadda . Do you get it yet?? I don’t care who voted for them because as evidenced by people not following guidelines, 25% of our population are apparently thick as pig****.

It cropped up briefly on the news bulletin that they are going to pay SW fortnightly now, but didn't elaborate. Does that apply to all payments (including CES) or just the ones on this new Covid-19 special allowance?

They are a bunch of populist spouting clowns , all they will do is try to nit pick at anything the government is trying to do in the current crisis to try to score a few cheap points .

China has no new domestic transmission cases today, meanwhile this disease is about to become the American virus

Try not to sound too hopeful there. Some people on here are really wishing this disease hits the US hard. Couldn't be more obvious. Just to get back at trump or something? Pretty pathetic.

can we drop the politics in all of this. It is about supporting who is there at the moment making the decisions.

66 is not the full total for UK today. On worldometeres it says there will be another figure report later today. I would imagine it will be at least 700 or 800 in the UK, people still working, public transport running, lots of places of leisure and gathering still open, schools still open, nearly impossible that it would go down or at least go down that quickly

:pac: Such anger and bitterness. That election result clearly still rankles. Get over it.

Who would be able to prove that one way or another? Good in theory but unworkable.

You don't need to implement it, just say it. You're dealing with extremely thick people.

I refer to above from our resident HSE consultant answering questions.

    I draw your attention to

Yes, my parents have a blood pressure monitor and thermometer and I made sure they bought a pulse oximeter in the run-up to this. I have instructed them that if they think they might be unwell to take their blood pressure and oxygen saturation every morning and record the results on a different sheet of paper each along with the date.

That way they'll be able to tell me and/or their GP their routine obs over the phone and it'll help establish that they're not just anxious as well as creating a timeline of any deterioration in their health.

I have the same and will post my temperature, oxygen saturation and BP if/when I get COVID-19.

I am starting to keep 3 times a day notes on my wife and my BP, heartbeat, Temp and Oxygen levels. Partially to get used to it and also because we have felt a bit off but not much.

I got a pulse oximeter also. And we are regularly checking temperature. I also feel ‘ off’. Sore throat and headache. Suspect it’s husbands cold that he caught from my son.

Newbie? Catherine Connolly is in her second term. Besides that, she has been a barrister for many years, certainly better qualified to scrutinise legislation than all the schoolteachers, publicans and career politicians that comprise most of the rest of the Dail.

No, the one they replaced it with, Larium, had worse side effects, it could send a small number of users psychotic.

I remember reading a malaria drug caused massive hallucinations and was blamed for a number of deaths , can’t remember which one though.

They're not doing that at all. The lies and hatred on here due to that election result still palpable.

I didn't spend much time on political forums on this site before, I had no idea that it was such a hotbed of blueshirt windbaggery. Get over yourselves and cop on.

The pubs were ordered to close, but the whole country did instead. Even mechanics who work on cars, no mass gatherings in a garage, geez.
