Madrid has the highest amount in the country what's that about? Over 4,000 cases in Madrid alone and 355 deaths.. yet the rest of the cases are evenly spread out throughout the rest of spain

Simply the fact that it's the big population centre and the most dense in terms of people mixing.

You'd expect Dublin to be the same when the numbers start rising here.

Afaik, Madrid's population reacted much the same way ours did when it was announced about partial closures. We went to the pubs, and they also stuck two fingers up at the warnings and tried to ignore the warnings about social distancing. This is the reprecussions...

Can people please get the message - "Confirmed cases" is totally dependent on how many tests are done and what the criteria for testing are and these vary from country to country.

A lot of people in Italy died and are dying because the virus is rampant there and they are a few weeks ahead of the rest of us.
