We went to town to get our regular shop.
Toilet Rolls were in Tesco and Supervalu. Tesco allowed three packs per customer.
There was Pasta and Rice but some was sold out.
Loads of meat, frozen food, etc.
There was a few extra people about. Aldi looked busy but there carpark is hard to get out of.
I was expecting it to be a lot worse going by the comments on here.

Are there any stats to break down how CV was caught? Related directly to travel, community transmission, etc.

I suspect most at this stage are community transmission.

What’s the protocol on reporting figures? We seem to issue early evening, those countries issuing now and haven’t much of a time difference.

None really. Each to their own. Some seem to roll out figures on an ongoing basis and others at specific times of the day.

Have heard from a concrete source (member of staff) that story is real. They were sent home from work for 4 days but hotel still open apparently.

I have my doubts that this is happening in the way people keep describing (mass hoarding etc). Is it not more likely that hand sanitiser is something that never really sold in big numbers, so all it would take is a large amount of people buying 2/3 bottles to **** up the supply chains.

My employer is telling us we're still operating, not giving up where I work.
Some people here had thought they'd be getting a free holiday.
But I'd actually prefer to be going in to work as I'm working in the horticultural sector and with trees, shrubs, glass houses etc

Ill probably be on my own as some people have family and want to lock themselves away for a few weeks.
Ill gladly get the herbaceous borders split and divided as well as look after seedlings and potting on bedding and lots of rose pruning to be done.
Pathways cleaned of weeds etc
Im out in a parkland which will be open hopefully in April.
Nature will be a good distraction.
