Building programmes for a newbie

    Hey guys,

Looking for a bit of advice, I am about to leave my current gym which does classes in a format I really liked because I simply can't get to any of them in the schedule any more because of work, childcare and other commitments.

There's a 24 hour gym near me which is the only thing that's going to work realistically for me for the next couple of years and I'm likely gonna join it next month.

My big concern here is that the current gym helps its members by having the program ready for people to follow and this is obviously going to ensure I'm getting a balanced workout.

I'm not expecting to be able to replace this completely but are there any resources for people to help them build their own programs? Any books or blogs or websites I can go to and get some ideas? The gym I'll be going to likely has trainers but not at the hours I'd be going, so I don't know if this is option.

    Cheers!
