    Happy Friday All!
Congratulations Kitty & have a lovely Spring break Auto!

So happy it’s the weekend after a busy week at work. My student teacher had her inspector today (they still give me the heebie-jeebies when they arrive at my door even though I’m not being inspected!) Thankfully, she deservedly did brilliantly. Have been cajoled into heading out for dinner this evening and all I want to do is go for a nap! Apologies in advance for any gibberish I may post later (must avoid Boards) Have a lovely evening all!

Baked a batch of butter biscuits, lit a candle and am now seated with a glass of hilda glider. The full moon effect has been potent this month. Feeling fairly great now though :)

DeLoreanside randomly travelling back to the future here.

Very half-arsed cleanup nearly finished, then shower and wine time. It's quiet here tonight, a lot of people must be stuck at some random point in the past.

In the kitchen with the lappy on the counter listening to The Cars - Drive. And sipping a beer. Lovely tune. :)
Had a basstid of a day at work and then left early to beat the traffic and get home to my dog (and beer).
Was scarcely 5 mins down the road when a few cars ahead of me on all 3 lanes started hitting hazard lights and slowing down so I did same thinking just friday traffic and then suddenly it apeared...... A lovely old fashioned bicycle with a wicker basket on the front left stranded in the middle lane on the M50
So it quickly transpired that an unfortunate woman with a jeep had lost her bike from the bike rack and she was now pulled into the hard shouler and was nervously watching the rest of us meander around her bike.
The cool thing was that 3 or 4 cars pulled over to join her and got out of their vehicles (that's vehhh-ickles if yer a Guard) to help her retrieve the bike which I thought was a really lovely thing to see.
Me, on the other hand, I was the very idiot who came closest to driving over it coz I was directly behind a big white van which left it late to swerve out of its way. So I couldn't really help after a late move into the far right lane but it was brilliant to see others had pulled in to help her.
All seemed to be male drivers btw, men get a bad rap in modern day ireland but there were a few gents who pulled in to help so we aint all basstids! ;)
So to whomever the lady in question is, I hope you got your bike back safely and in one piece :)

Might have footage shot by John Ford ( he of The Quiet Man ). Did a lot of work in the far east during the war ( 'twas his job )

    e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smEMq1badTY

The war in the far east was very, very savage :(. The Japs just would not give up ... honor and all that ...

    Congrats Kitty ... ( where to next ? :) )

    Well done HB

@auto, I'm wondering what you are getting at with that piccy

:pac: Oh well everydays a school day. The phrase sounds a bit mechanical, I was caught by surprised by the definition.

Ah lads, you should have done biology in school. Coitus was explained in very mechanical terms, it would nearly have turned you off it for life.

No such excitement here, although I did have the thrill of laundry and hit and miss cleaning. :(
