      Are you in an at risk group?
      Or close family member?

      You may have to self isolate for 2 weeks on your return.
      Can you do that effectively bearing in mind your living arrangements, family and work commitments.

      They don’t want focus on the hospitals. Nit while we have no government and health service being the other white hot issue after housing currently.

      It does look like the HSE/government is maybe downplaying this in an effort to not cause panic. That and Paddy's Day is coming up and that would bring some economic activities to towns and cities around Ireland. If Covid-19 cases spring up in Ireland, serious consideration will have to go into the Paddys days celebrations with cancellations around the country.

      A few things don't sit well with me. A person flying into Dublin and going to Belfast and later being diagnosed with Covid-19. The school ski trip as you mentioned as well and there hasn't been any further cases of Covid-19 confirmed or reported since and yet Italy, France, Germany cases have doubled. If downplaying is involved here, it's not right.

      Wouldn’t go there if there was no coronavirus and I’d a first class plane ticket. All of my colleagues who went there ended up on the porcelain throne for days, and they were in decent, commercialised areas. I could tell you a lot more but I won’t, suffice to say any that went there said they’d never return. But it’s your choice at the end of the day.

      Wait and see how things develop in the next few days. I wouldn't listen to any of the it will be grand/head in the sand brigade on here. Depending on your commitments to family etc I would probably err on the side of caution and not be travelling unnecessarily in a potential pandemic situation.

      I did see a till worker were plastic gloves at a local petrol station today though.

      I'd like to apologize to a couple of posters who I've been pretty grumpy with today. No need to name names they'll know who they are and its somewhat derailed the discussion. Maybe the the flow of the thread has gotten under my skin a bit and in all honesty yeah I'm fairly worried about this virus and taking it too seriously.

      Also to the lads/lassies who are coming up with the humour fair play, keep it coming as we may need it in spades as time progresses.

      I would be hopeful that treatment for this could improve pretty quickly. Seems to have been good developments in the last few weeks with HIV drugs responding quite well. In a month or so scientists should learn more about the disease

      Tescos selling packs of disinfectant wipes 65c a pack stands full of them get them , no hand gel to be got. Didn't see one person wearing a mask and was in city centre yesterday.

      Was in London this week and there was a lot of people wearing them around the airport in particular. Haven’t seen anybody wearing them in Ireland yet

      Fatalaties exceed 500 in Iran, US bans all travel to/from there.
      Reckon they're doing something wrong, also N95's aren't as effective with beards.
      Also, going to pray time x6 per day or so (even during this tribulation) won't help.

      Seen loads of pictures from the UK from the underground in London for instance but none here. Actually that's a lie I noticed an Asian girl down in UCD about three weeks ago with one.
