I like you man from the army- he seems like a nice fella in fairness. She seems nice too in fairness and they seem well met- which is good for them

Jeez derbhla’s list of questions would make me run a mile.

Jeez she talks about mammy like it’s her dog that she has to go home and walk

Yeah, the redhead was good looking, but I'd say she could get fairly head wrecking..

I'm kind of concerned about how attractive I'm finding the thank you lady..

Haha what age are you mate?

Yeah the list of questions would be a huge red flag to me- anyone who brings that much structure do a date wouldn’t be for me

His laugh reminded me of this guy. :D

Yeah that’s a bloody tough one alright.

Apologies for being flippant but the girl in the background over his shoulder is fairly distracting since she is almost falling out the top of her dress!

    Yeah, that was mad.

His story was a bit like my mother passing away. We knew she was on her way out, I went home to get medication for my Dad, came back two hours later and it was another patient in the hospital who said 'Sorry for your loss' to me. Nobody tole me my mother had just passed away as they knew I was driving. Like he said, it totally knocked me for six.

Hope it works out for them, she's very attractive, has a lot going for her.

The woman from Cork who was 50 was lovely and looked a lot younger ...plus extremely polite...thank you thank you

If Peter changes sides, he can PM me :)

Your man's laugh should be a ring tone.
Ha no chance of that ....fun fact... he is not 31 or close... not sure why he would lie about his age.

Agree. That's two weeks in a row there have been cute (personality & looks) couples from Cork. I have a sister living in Cork ... must visit to see is there something in the water!

I usually cant stand first dates Ireland as usually full of ott wannabes but tonight one was brilliant. Very like the normal uk episode.

God people here are harsh. Nothing wrong with Waynes teeth! He just looks like a normal person in their 50s not all these ones with their venueers + bleached teeth!

I think Wayne’s lovely actually ! I’d definitely date him , yes the teeth are a bit yellow but that’s so easy to fix , if he was my partner I’d slip him a few teeth whitening strips after a month or so , I use them myself , he’s a lovely guy .

The army guy's laugh! I don't think I'd be able to cope dating him. In fairness though he did seem to be a lovely guy and his date was nice too. They were a nice couple.

The gay couple, Peter seemed a nice guy. I think Timmie could be hard work.

Speaking of hard work, what about Dearbhla? God you could spot the muinteoir a mile away. Her date seemed nice though. I was actually surprised when they met up again. D'you think 'Mammy' dropped her to Bunratty and picked her up afterwards?

The Cork couple. I can't remember the 'Thank you' lady's name but she was quite nice. I was a bit surprised at the end when the first thing she said was that she hadn't felt an initial spark and then that whole thing about losing the phone number seemed a bit odd, but they did meet up again so who knows?
I thought her date Wayne was a pure dote. Absolutely lovely guy. Seemed like a real gentleman. A genuinely nice down to earth guy. I'd definitely have gone out with him. One of the nicest guys I've ever seen on the show.

Loved that episode. Very likeable people.

Dundalk guy and Belfast girl were great. I didn't like her at first (TV editing ?) but in the end I was rooting for them. Real spark there.

Cork couple, wayne and thank you were a lovely story and couple. I can understand the lost number as there was a lot of heartache in each of their lives. Maybe they were trying to avoid dredging that back up.

Didn't like the gay dude that had been there before but the cork/Romanian guy was lovely. I think he could do better.

Far less focus on the staff in this episode which is good. If they become too familiar it starts to look like cornation street. But, the main host is becoming more likeable each episode.

I don't often say this about 50-year-olds, but I probably would. I'd say she'd be very grateful too...

Strangest Navan accent I've ever heard :D

Italian girl could be the best of the series. Beautiful.

And older Galway guy looks the hock of Michael Stipe.

I always confuse what night this is on, so have missed several weeks now.

This bald lad tho.. Jaysus. And the young fella with the Italian girl is not much better.
