The "Program Resumes Shortly" music on RTE player is like out some kind of
    sci-fi dystopian movie.

Feels weird listening to it like depressing and awkward at the same time.

    Absolutely.

I'm curious will the voters give SF the benefit of the doubt like they gave FG and FF it was deserved or not( I realise it was either one of the other) if SF dont make the progress on the issues that need to be fixed ?
Why would this even happen? Haven't they got their supply of magic beans?

What will be the immediate priorities for SF?

    Solving the health service?
Building loads of houses using exchequer money?
    Rolling back the pension age?
Extra 25 quid on the dole?
Getting rid of the local property tax?

    Forming a government ?

Especially when they weren't in power for ten years and took over a failed economy.

    Didn't vote fg

9 years. And no need to apologise or be embarrassed.

He heh. Copped that myself, the bravado has been dialed down a few notches.

The spectre and weight of power starting to look a little daunting now that it seems a real possibility rather than being able to spout anything from safety of opposition with no chance of being involves in the real decisions.

At this stage FF should walk away like FG and leave SF to sort things out for themselves. Imagine trying to explain the appalling behaviour of elected representatives like David Cullinane and Dessie Ellis to our esteemed colleagues in Europe. True colours showing, carry on like that and they won't last pi55ing time on the international political stage.

Can you read my response....as I said already I didn't vote SF.
I would be more than happy to give another person who clearly has talent in the area of housing a chance.

Not really. Just asking which of these would be the priority. The people will be expecting results pretty soon.

The thing about SF is one sustained period in government, even if they did an absolutely stomping job, there will be a large core of their support that will feel "betrayed" or left behind no matter how well they do.

What are you even on about..... You basically portrayed it as a government saying up the Ra. Stop embarrassing yourself...

    Deflect deflect..

Any chance you’d deal with the points I raised ?

We all know it’s likely now SF will be in government they just reminded people of their well earned SF/IRA moniker.

SF will take the reigns just in time for a global downturn that will be their fault in the eyes of the country but in reality, it will be completely out of their control.

Are you happy with their lack of awknowledgement of their failure to address voter concerns or are you cool with the narcissistic arrogance of a entire country of stupid voters.

It’s more voters not understanding they have actually been doing a pretty good job that’s the issue, a lot of not very smart people with a vote in this country unfortunately.

Some of the exit poll surveys posted up by RTÉ prove this, SF voters haven’t a clue what’s going on, their views being totally opposite to what SFs are looking to do if they get in.

Deflect what ? I said one spanner sang a song. This is the reality.

You said an entire government in waiting sang a song. This isn't reality.

Who's deflecting I just relayed what you said

    And here we are.....

Anymore sillyness you want to take on today...

Also citizens in NI and IRL get to decide. This is also reality.

Now I'm still not sure what your point is now.. or what point you were trying to make given we've recovered what you said.

FG TD getting minced now by nobody on CB live.

No wonder SF inanimate rods topped the polls all over the place.

your saying this as a SF supporter?
Or is this just more nonsense and false assumptions?

I would imagine all SF supporters would be delighted if they could form a government with a majority. Why wouldn't they?

You confirmed what I thought. You're as arrogant as the party you supported . Makes sense when you earlier inferred you prefer inheriting your money than making it yourself .

This is gold. FG poster .

theyd probably try run Gerrys brother and make him minister for children and sit there dead faced no idea whats wrong.

They'd have a spot of bother trying to - he's dead.

    Indeed
The only fix this country really needs urgently is housing and health

I can't see sf doing that, manifesto dosent add up

Give it 1 year, fg will be in cleaning up their mess

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,492 ✭✭✭Sir Oxman

Neale Richmond FG on CBLive has just basically said we are not going to change
These things are undeliverable he says on the back of Emmet Kirwan saying we have not one generation but two lost and the social contract broken.

This is the face of FG
    They will never learn.

How can you have a conversation about housing problems while not being prepared to talk about the growth of the economy and immigration?
