Shoulder Operation Surgery and shoulder support

    My son dislocated his shoulder playing football and had labral shoulder surgery to repair it

    The surgeon gave him the all clear to start phasing himself back into playing contact sport again over the next couple of weeks

    Would a shoulder support be of any benefit to him, something like what Lee Keegan and other GAA players wear - you can see then if they take their jerseys off, and where could you buy them

    I'm not sure but you might be thinking of the little vests they wear on their upper body that carry the GPS trackers and cover the heart rate monitor.

    But not sure how good they are for use while playing or if it would be for when recovering from injury/surgery where it stabilises things but keeps mobility limited to protect the shoulder.
