Taken from twitter today. His bedroom is looking well. He even got a replica Jay to put in there. Amazing.

Ha :pac: In fairness he's finished the TV work and clearly back down there this week. His social media goes very Cork-esque when he's there and very quiet when he's not :D

I thought it didn't make any difference yet you're still painfully trying to get your point across.

It really doesn't make a difference where it's recorded from, it's still a very good breakfast show and it doesn't suffer in quality regardless of it, I was poking fun at your pathetic bedroom comment, here's a thought if you hate Ray Foley so much don't post in his thread, life would be so much better for you not to have to worry about where Ray is this week.

Was in Cork earlier, Was flicking between the two breakfast shows (96 & Red), I found them just ok, nothing special, How are the figures for the shows?

  • Registered Users Posts: 900 ✭✭✭IUA14

He's not hosting the 6 O'CLOCK show anymore, so he's back hosting the breakfast show in Cork.
Christ I'm actually embarrassed for you that as such a big fanboy you didn't realise that.
I thought it didn't make any difference yet you're still painfully trying to get your point across.

Actually he is back up in Dublin this evening for Virgin Media and The Six O Clock show so...

Also Breakfast with Ray and Jay nominated for best breakfast show and Ray nominated for best music and entertainment presenter again for the IMRO'S.

But he wasn't on last night's show so......
I was commenting on the picture posted by his number 1 fanboy from "twitter today" showing him in the red FM studio.
My point was he was back in Cork yesterday and today because he wasn't hosting the 6 0 clock show last night???

For people who say it doesn't make any difference or detract from the show you sure are really trying to convince somebody, I wonder who................
They won't win best breakfast show, bookmark this post.

I don't listen to the show much anymore as can't handle the music, but did tune in last week to see what it sounded like with Foley working remotely.

I could hear the signs of it as I was literally listening just to see what it sounded like, but not sure the regular listener would pass much notice..

Does it matter that much really? I'm sure they can still do meetings etc via conference calls and stuff.

Actually noticed on his Instagram that he has a Red FM backdrop in his home set-up to make it look like he's there!

Hilarious. As it stands 96fms breakfast show is killing them on everything that makes a successful show.

Depends on how you would define killing I suppose. I haven't heard him in years but it seems to me that "KC" disappeared when he moved stations. There doesn't seem to be the same interest anymore.

Foley was in Cork this morning anyway judging by the podcast and his instagram, he had a very funny train video on his story. Maybe he does the remotes when he has to do TV in Dublin? I wouldn’t begrudge anyone who’s working hard earning a living driving up and down with a wife and two young kids doing two jobs in two cities. Fair play to him. Some of the banter on here seems a bit mean spirited.

The lads back together at the IMRO's. Foley picked up Bronze in Music Broadcaster of the Year.

For any former NTN fans check out Muireann's instagram, said to Foley 'tell them about the podcast' and said it's coming next week!

Christ just let it go, what's Foley's deal with the same Black/navy shirt for every event?
Does he think he's Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs or something.
Clearly trying to draw attention to himself once again when everyone else was in black tie & he was trying to let in that he couldn't care less when it actually looked like pure desperation

RedFM and Ray were claiming they were number 1 but were keeping it quiet enough this time.

Who's the female presenter on the Breakfast show with the lads? She doesn't seem to be a co-presenter but she seems to be interjecting alot lately... kinda like Ray's old TodayFM and 98fm show when he had the producers and news readers interact.

Actually he said her name was Ciara.... where did she come from? :P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,411 ✭✭✭ofcork

From Neil prendiville show I'd say Brenda came back Ciara was there while she was AWOL also has her own show 8 to 10 Saturday morning

Jay is leaving...I guess Ciara will be the new co-host then?

I say they will have to rebrand it.

Shame as Ray and Jay really found their rhythm as a duo. In fairness Jay didn't start as early as Ray did every morning :P

Ya Jay really found his rhythm of laughing like a giddy school girl at anything at all that came out of Ray Foley's mouth for 2 hours.
Thinking back to past Ray Foley shows that's really all he requires, he's got really low self esteem so needs this canned laughter as an ego booster and gauge as to how well he's doing.
It really showed the mornings Jay was off or when he had his solo Sunday morning show in red, bleak.

Oh look it's Ray Foley's number 1 fan, at least by listening every morning you're contributing to the ratings and keeping Ray in a job. Good job Flangey. :)

    It's nice of him really.

Anyways, Jay seemingly has set up a new business with his mate and wants to spend more time with the kids. Will be interesting to see what they do with the show moving forward tho.

Can't have been easy on Jay though, laughing all the way from Cork 6 months of the year while Ray was broadcasting from his bedroom in Dublin desperately hoping to get back into Virgin media's good books and get a full time gig up there like the good auld take me out days.
Shame at least the fanboys can still watch him nervously playing with his fringe on his insta stories on a regular basis.

Yeah Ray and Jay don’t seem to be keen on the songs as well. They constantly take the piss out of the newer songs.

Liking the new dynamic with Ruairi and Ciara...when they get used to each other think it will work well.

Foley's song this morning for East Cork...rhyming in Dunkettle Interchange is some feat 😂

The ensemble cast is very reminiscent of the TodayFM days. Ruairi is like the new Nordie Eoghan and Ciara is like the old producer from TodayFM or Sues from 98FM.

Foley heavily implied that K.C. tried to warn Jay off working with him by saying he was very difficult to work with along with other not nice things.

Between that and Foley winding K.C. up at the start
Of this tenure in Red makes me think their friendship is a bit rocky at the moment.

Well KC tried to bring Jay with him to 96 first day prior to Ross Browne coming in! It’s well established that Ray is a total anorak and control freak since the days of his night time show on Today Fm if beds are too loud or co presenters miss a cue he isn’t impressed. That’s him in a nutshell. He’s a perfectionist he makes others on the team up their game like most jobs in the world! Maybe after awhile it gets tiresome but it’s still “work” at the end of the day not somewhere they all go to “do a bit”

Ross Browne claiming what he and KC have is authentic, ya bud and so are Jordons tits, they were paired up by management. I like KC but with the crap videos saying number 3 and the Ross fb stuff it makes them seem childish and not at all funny. I hope with the re-boot on Red since Jay left Foley turns it around but I think he has his sights set on Dublin living again and dunno if he has the same hunger to get back too number 1 again
