I've done my transfers and got Salah in, didn't want to be driving myself daft thinking about it for the next two days. Will probably switch to double defence when I wc but for this week it's double attack.

Probably the most sensible course of action for me too
Don’t think I’ll go ahead with TC on mane though

Anyone considering Mane to Salah? Can do it on FT.

Dunno about that. Reminds me of those Deal or No Deal games where the contestant swaps the box at the end. Always think it stings worse when you lose out on what you might have had otherwise.

Sound advice lads. Trying to be too clever.

I have TAA, VVD and Mane.

    Prob gonna triple captain Mane
    .
Is there anything to be said for bringing in 1 or 2 West Ham players for the DGW?

Was thinking of Noble and AN other

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,837 ✭✭✭✭callaway92

Even though I have a double Liverpool defence, I’m tempted to do Haller for Abraham for the DGW. WHam have Brighton the GW after that.

Generally don’t like punty transfers but this is a fairly safe one for a punt. Not too much can go wrong unless Abraham tees off on Arsenal

Tosun has a blank in 2 weeks does he? He;s only on loan from Everton, that still a rule yeah?

Correct, he has 3 home in next 4. Who is your 7th attacker orc4th defender. Check their fixtures for this GW and factor that in

  • Registered Users Posts: 713 ✭✭✭loadwire

If Sarr is out I'm looking at getting Trossard in for him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,706 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

Traore to Noble worth the -4?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,264 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Ricky out Grealish in

Cantwell who has Liverpool. Can play 4 at the back anyway.

I'm on the Tosun punt. Not sure when the last time I owned a player with 0.2% ownership was

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Did Maddison out for Mane which with my funds left me 5.1m. Was tempted by Greenwood in light of Rashford's injury, but seeing as I've already got Martial, didn't want a United double up. Decided to take a punt on Jordan Ayew. He scored in his last two home games and his next two are at home. I'll aim to move him on after that but hoping he can prove a nice short-term differential.

Now to agonise over Salah or Mane as captain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,589 ✭✭✭patmac

Yeah I did my transfers as well. VVD and Noble in for Soy/Sarr for -4 exact money. Also have TAA/Mane

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

A second -8 taken and now I have triple west ham, triple liverpool and Kun

I have left the vardy party but it will be okay to get him back in should it start again :)

    Randolph
    Dunk TAA Williams
    Noble KdB Salah Mane
    Aguero Haller Ings

    Lundy Cantwell Kelly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,421 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Only one question remains. Do I captain Salah or Triple Captain

Any Spurs fans have thoughts on Tanganga? Has started two in a row and was highly rated in Spurs defeat to Liverpool.

Only 4.0 and means I could ship away Rico and bank the .2

    Now considering a -4 of:
    Sarr to Mahrez
    Jimi to Greenwood
    Dendoncker to Fleck/Noble

Would mean going 3-5-2 with a front seven of

    KDB-Mahrez-Mo-Mane-Fleck/Noble
    Vardy-Ings (Greenwood)

Would like to bank but I think Kiko to Cathcart and starting him ahead of Lundstram is probably the better option

How likely is ageuro to be rested tmor? Hard to sell him after his last 2 weeks but hard fixtures coming up and with fa cup nd champions league he surely goin be restd a lot in league now it over.
Sellin him fr Greenwood or low price forward only way to get salah or mane for double gameweek

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,911 ✭✭✭tailgunner

Robertson to TAA for a hit is crazy, right? I have Mané and Firmino as well.

There’s only one difficult fixture for City and it’s GW32. Aguero is on fire, there’s a chance he’ll be rested but I wouldn’t bet on it
There must be another route, like say Vardy

I watched the Spurs/Watford game Saturday and Sarr had him in knots. I have Rico but looking at Lasellas as the swap. Better fixtures, as nailed on as they come, and plays in a better defense

Sheffield utd a hard fixture escp away from home and dey hav spurs and Leicester away in next 3 gameweeks, not da hardest fixtures but not great either. Also he going be rotated and vardy wont and Leicester have west ham at home. Its hard pick cus ageuro on fire but no where near gauranted to start and den 11 mil on bench

It sounds like you're looking for this answer

Yes Aguero will be definitely benched this week

He travelled with the senior squad to China in preseason and played a few games in the international cup or whatever it's called and did well. Surprised Poch didn't involve him sooner this season... Jose obviously decided to take a risk.

Sanchez has been terrible for most of the season and Vertoghen has been covering the LB position due to a combination of Rose been injured/useless, Davies injured and Sessengon not been ready fitness wise. Vertoghen at LB also suits Jose mandate for a more solid defensive team.

So as long as Sanchez is terrible and Vertoghen is needed at LB then tanganga has a chance... he can also cover for the equally poor Aurier at RB

Basically taking a hit in hope that TAA either gets 5 BPS across two games. Or more than 1 assist.

    Yes
Unless you plan on making him captain
and even then I think it is mad
    It could go either way

Or an assist and 2BPS, much more likely

Is it really worth the risk for the likely potential 1/2 point gain?

Albeit he could get a handful more points as could Robertson, but it's risk V reward.

No logic to that move. If Salah doesn't miss that absolute sitter Robbo has an assist

Wasn't gonna bother too much with WH players but Sarr has made me reconsider this. Probably pop in Snoddy for the GW.

Other than that I'mmagonna pop out Jimmy for Bobby for the week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,128 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

    Richy ----> Mane

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,353 ✭✭✭Porthallian

    Which trio would you prefer:

    A) Soyuncu, Grealish, Tosun

    B) Williams (Utd), Snodgrass, Abraham?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,432 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

    Williams, Grealish, Tosun

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,298 ✭✭✭RedRochey

Will there be another double gameweek? I know if teams make it to the FA cup semi final then they will get a double gameweek sometime but other than that

Debating should I triple captain Mane even when they're two away games

Can't get William as I currently own Abraham and Soy.
    It's a double transfer so I'm going Abraham/Tettey to Tosun/Grealish.

    Alternative was Soy/Tettey to Williams/Snodgrass

Had hoped to just do Rashford to Firmino and bank my 2nd FT.

But with Rahsford and Richarlison out, I'll have to go Salah + 6.7 striker.

Have 2.4m in bank would allow me to transfer in Aguero for Vardy. But vardy having West ham next and with pep Roulette I'm stuck between what to do.

Thanks lads. I won't do it, but TAA has been killing me all season and I'm absolutely terrified of him for the double.

No Robbo/Mane/TAA is risky in my eyes, no way you could have got one of those 3 in?
