Deskside, at work. Checking emails and internal post.

Got quite a few things to get sorted this week in preparation for the new academic semester later this month and getting back to a paper I am co-authoring.

Actually glad to be back in work. I had a fantastic break over the Christmas. Been wishing everyone in work a Happy New Year. :)

I'm jealous - I'm midway through 26 student meetings, and only 60% of me is praying for a nuclear apocalypse so I don't have to go meet the next 13. I want them to go away so I can focus on nice stuff, like designing my new module.

It is completely unrelated that I am currently slumped in a bean bag chair, drinking my 5th cup of tea of the day and eating a healthy balanced lunch of rusks and rich tea.

Just opened a nice bottle of wine.

    This won't end well.

Haha eager to know how this ended 😛

Lunch time and I'm home, dogs tails wagging to greet me.
Will go back in an hour and grind away till about six or so.
Feeling like I've never been on a break.

I’m in work, no fear because I got like 3 days off for Xmas :D you can’t miss what you never had eh also I like being at work, it keeps me out of trouble!

I was only thinking this last night, almost glad I went back so early or it would have been nearly impossible to go back after a massive long break

Workside, no fear here today as I was back last Thursday so that massively cushioned the blow.

They are cheaper than Nespresso, but not as nice, IMHO. But they certainly beat Davidoff.

Some days the skies are clear and the views are amazing, this is part of the route of the Paris Dakar day 4.

    What's up gremmy?

I brought a catch bar and instead of being a chocolate color its was a weird hazy white color o_O.

I like that they got the Starbuck flavour in there. I know their coffee isn't the best, but I like the consistency.. I travel a lot for work and no matter where you have Starbucks in the world it's the same. So I like that :D

Still, you can't beat an Ristretto at home.

    Ah just general schtuff

The white on the chocolate is no harm, does it kinda rub off with a wipe of a warm finger?.

I was actually very sensible and went to bed after one glass. That means there's plenty left and it would be a shame to waste it ..

Homeside, trying to think of get-rich-quick schemes. :D

Isn't it Alpacas nowadays? Maybe a mix of both, it's good to diversify.

I'd happily crawl up the arse of an emu or alpaca if it meant I could permanently stop working. :D

That could be a form of work......

I'd be guessing it'd be in the "entertainment industry".......

It would more than likely cost me to give it away, especially after Christmas. I wont be modelling swimwear any time soon. :(

I don't know, funnily I was at a funeral service of a lady clients husband a couple of years ago, I never knew him, but she got his remains back from somewhere in America, he'd been dead 3 years.
He'd sold his body to science, they sent what was left back when they were finished with it.

Bedside in KL. Its 3.44 am and am wide awake. Fought sleep until 9 pm hoping to get my jetlag/body clock back in order after about an hour's sleep on my almost 13 hours flight. Dammit.

Have so much work to do today and the rest of the week as well as shopping for groceries and a stove coz stupid horrible apartment my boyfriend got has no stove. I can't live on takeaways like him coz of my allergies. I need to cook. There isn't even a feckin microwave.

Really don't like this apartment but too broke after Christmas for any other options at the moment so have to suck it up.

    Grumpy Witchie alert.
