Had a lovely bimble this afternoon around the little villages here via the tarred dirt tracks. On return the clockometer showed something like 34 km of cycling. Had to take advantage of the sun. December was so grey and dull i couldn’t help it. 😱😄

So this evening i just decided to get another cuppa as i heard someone meowing outside. Cat in distress...meow...emergency...let me in! There was a quite feisty tiger outside on the porch and just went in. Hungry as hell i lost 70gr of my poultry sausage to her within three minutes. It was just inhaled. 😳

I took a few pictures on the phone and went over to next door grandma. She is feeding the local beasties all the time so i just asked her if she might knew my intruder. Of course, it belongs to the daughter of our church organist and comes by every day to have a feast at her place.😺

We are all forbidden to feed her. Okey...now i know. 🙀😂

So after a few minutes of cuddling i had to show my new visitor the door. She’ll be welcome for more cuddles but no more treats...ok, only small ones. 😉

But i got a bottle of burgundy from grandma and the order to shop more cat food for her. So there comes my little bike trailer back into the picture as her order is big enough to feed the local feline beggars for at least two weeks. 😂

P.s. The trees in pic 1 on the right hand side are all walnut trees. They belong to the village and everybody can get as much nuts as she/he wants. All in all i had 32 litres of walnuts this season. Already gone...🥺😜

You may have seen her tattoo in the ear. That’s something most pet animals over here in Germany have. It’s older than microchipping and registration is for free. Financed only by donations a more or less complete register of dogs and cats to find lost companions.😺🐾

In the meantime nearly every pet is microchipped so they included that as well. If you open an free account on their page you can store pics of your pet and should it get lost you can just print out a full description plus the pics to plaster local shops or lamp posts. Additionally they publish it on their site as well. Easy to use in local FB groups.😉

I've hardly posted here at all recently.

I had a ad busy Christmas of training and walking Richo on the beach.

I took almost the entire of last year off from Judo competition to let my body heal, I'm planning a return to competition this year at the very competitive weight category of -100kg, I'll be happy at around 95kg

I've also decided I'll try a sprint triathlon this year.. I'm fit, half decent middle distance runner, good cyclist and again a half decent swimmer.. 54 years old in March, so I won't be representing After Hours in any world or Olympic championships lol.

So where am I going, to bed.. My leave period fell great for me this year and I'm only proper returning to work tomorrow and apart from dreadful insomnia I'm feeling well rested over the holidays.
