For all the offences tonight, THAT gets a yellow.

Ah jaysus that's a bit harsh. Daft stuff altogether.

    That's a nothing yellow.

And yet he’s had a good game. Been a nuisance along with O Donoghue

You really must be watching a different game. O’Donoghue is lucky to not have been binned twice while POM has made 2 line out steals and one turnover. Apart from that he’s done very little.

Cloete knows exactly what he’s at there. It should be a red.

Bit of a nothing yellow alright but a bit silly from Cloete he knew where McCloskey was

No doubt we’ll hear about POMs ‘workrate’, ‘unseen work’ and other vague meaningless cliches people use to protect their favorites.

He shouldn’t be near the Irish 23

Let’s not pretend that those attributes havent been overused for other players in the past.

Yeah there was an encyclopedia of offences either individually or by penalty count that should have gotten a yellow card before that did. Weird.

Have really enjoyed this game. Great intensity.

And the same people using it to defend POM would have dismissed it for other players.

That’s what unseen work is. Something that doesn’t show up on stats on ESPN etc such as rucks hit. He’s been a nuisance and has had a very good game. Add to that he hasn’t done the cynical thing and stand out in the line to get his tackle stats up to shut “experts” like you on websites like this up

Idiotic from Cloete but that's sort of standard for him now, but there was no malice in it at all, penalty at the most.

Never said any different. Same rubbish spouted for a lot of players down the years when it means next to nothing of any substance

Even McCloskey told the ref there's nothing in it. Ferris sounded disgusted too.

Thought it was a penalty at worst myself.

Very impressed by Ulster pack tonight, they've toughened up. Didn't think we'd win but thought we'd get a losing bonus maybe.

We'll get crucified next weekend in Paris if we don't front up. Said it before but O Shea for a fella of his size is so passive, never see him dominate collisions like he should.

    Congrats to the Ulstermen!

I knew someone would bring up the number of rucks he hit.

Like that's something deserving of a central contract, a starting green jersey and legions of fans.

Tackles made is almost a useless stat at this stage for the vast majority of tackles.

FairPlay to him not cracking under the weight of Boards.ie criticism like Will Connors did. Thank god we’ve you to show us all the light

He deserved the yellow for pure ****ing stupidity if nothing else.

O’Shea just seems to have his height with regards to size, the jersey is hanging off him. He’s so far off the standard required though.

    Peter "the ruck master" O'Mahony.

    Lions captain material.

"Being a nuisance at ruck's" is having a laugh when the ball has been on a silver plater for the ulster 9s....

Ineffectual for such a senior player

He’s hit rucks, but he has had zero impact in them.

Hitting rucks is all well and good but Ulster have utterly dominated at the breakdown.

‘Cynical thing to get his tackle stats up’ - what are you actually talking about?

How long can the ‘new system’ excuse be rolled out for?

Daly been far and away Munsters best player. Carbery gone ok with little to work with. Ulster look a very decent side. Building nicely. Hopefully they give clermont a proper crack

And Munster (including POM) got their arses handed to him.
