That is harsh on Grealish owners, but I'll take it.

Wow. With Pope playing and Grealish benched, this is miraculous.

    same, first sub though

I sold Grealish this week, though I would have had him as my first sub had I not done so. I also have Pope as my keeper, so hearing there was a goal hurt on a few levels. Thank you, VAR (for now at least). Abraham assist is a nice boost.

i think it might be the end for Burnley. if you can't rely on them to keep it tight against muck, there is no point in them whatsoever.

Didn't think it was possible but VAR keeps finding ways to get more farcical! As a Pope owner that decision suits me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,826 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    that was coming

  • Registered Users Posts: 36,081 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Villa could hammer Burnley here. didn't see this coming.

Grealish is very impressive in this game.. everything goes through him.

It is, but the FA have got themselves in a mess, they have moved away from what VAR is to be used for "clear and obvious" as per IFAB guidelines.

But given that they are adopted this forensic approach, they have to continue it for the rest of the season, otherwise they could be open to all sorts of challenges from teams who lost points because of those decisions.

With VAR there is now a definite need to change the offside rule... The suggestion from souness is the best I have heard tbh..

it does. but i can't overstate how bad they have been. i went team form over fixtures by benching him. what can you do?

He didn't get an assist so you're decision is currently correct

as a Pope owner, the only good thing about this is that he could rack up saves like a king.
