Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have to get rid of Mousset. What a waste of a transfer he was. Ings, Maupay?

Can't see why anyone wouldn't have Ings.

Last chance saloon for Tielemans and Mount. I'll have two free transfers and both could be out the gap.

I’ll be looking to make a lot of ganes this week. ;)

Ings isn't going to start 2 games in 48 hours be fairly sure he will be on the bench next gw chelsea away to start him for palace at home.

To-date Ings has a cap of 1 goal though, so he's great enabled if you want to go big in midfield, but he hasn't got a double digit score before this GW - unlike most other strikers that people have.

    Stellar work, thanks!

Not sure whether to immediately correct my mistake of buying a Villa defender or not.

I’m going to bank for this reason
Already have Jiminez first sub so if I sign Ings I’ve a headache I don’t need

Mings out is a big loss or their defence

Forward line of Vardy, Rashford, Abraham and Jiminez/Aguero before that has stopped me getting Ings so far.

There's a lot of affordable options up front this year and has made buying a cheapie at a struggling club less desirable to me anyway.

Other issues to deal with this week but I will have to move on Mousset next GW. I am half thinking of going with Josh King, good run of fixtures, he was out for a while with an injury so won't need a rest over Christmas. Although he is mostly gets 2s, he seems to pop up with hauls a few times times each season so might be one soon.

    It’s going to be either:
    A: Zaha/Auba to Kane/Grealish or
    B: Zaha/Auba to Ings/Son

Any Watford fan, or PL fan with more knowledge than I, know the back line ?

Guessing even Watford fans would struggle with this question currently given new man in charge.

Think he preferred 3 at the back in his previous jobs. I’d prefer a fb/wb so Femenia/ Janmaat or Holebas/ Masina. All dodgy though.

Is Cathcart or Kabasele their best CB ?

I need/want to make the transfer before price changes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭shineon23

Have done a boring enough double move for no hits.
Zaha and Dendonker out for Grealish and Cantwell.

I meet neither criteria but Cathcart and Dawson have been the main two. Kabasele behind them. Dawson was injured recently but he's supposedly fit again and Kabasele has been playing so all up in the air which of Dawson/Kabasele will partner Cathcart.

Pearson has no problem with several systems including three at the back but it's been the exception rather than the rule. We'll see more when he plays a team he wants to attack.

    Yeah.

I didn’t go through with the transfer.

Too much up in the air until we see his favoured formation and personnel.

I’ll be happy enough to wait 1-2 weeks if it means Holebas is back and available.

    Son out

    Son out
What a disaster of a transfer.
Back to mane or salah or sterling. Progba too risky.
    Probably salah.

Son has put paid to this anyway.

    Son -> Salah.

Salah is in brilliant playing form lately. Goals might not be there yet, but he's in brilliant playing form and the goals will come.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Was planning on banking the transfer before getting Son-burned.

Selling him plus current funds leaves me 12.4m. Might be time to bring Salah back.

  • Posts: 13,688 ✭✭✭✭ Graham Gentle Beggar

I'm thinking Rashford and Tielemans out, De Bruyne and Joshua King in.

Bournemouth have a very nice run of fixtures.

Batman on for Abraham. Another blank for him.

Was planning on banking before watching today’s games. Now tempted to

    Son/Rashford out

    Grealish/Aguero in
    Or
    Salah/Ings in

    Salah or Mane for Son?

Thinking similar but think I'll give Rashford another chance against Newcastle

Banking and getting KDB back in week after assuming he is rested for next game .......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,787 ✭✭✭Benimar

2FTs. Exact cash to do Son and Ward-Prowse to Alli and Richarlison.

    What say ye?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 833 ✭✭✭SkySter

    Got 2 FTs. Thinking Son/Abraham to Grealish/Kane.

I'm eyeing up a cheeky Abraham and Son to Maupay and Sterling for a -4. Exact funds to do it. Double City attack could provide dividends over coming weeks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,483 ✭✭✭macraignil

Son to Grealish done. Should leave enough in the bank for Ali to Salah next week.

Easiest transfer decision of the season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,304 ✭✭✭munster87

Didn’t get to watch all the spurs Chelsea game, Kane look dangerous at all in second half when they still had 11?

Seems a logical transfer to make but for some reason Sarr is giving me the eye, could be a fun player to own.

    That or Son/Jimi to Sterling/Inga

This red card has totally ****d by plans

Winder if Mahrez is nailed on? Probably not.

Tempted by Son to Alli, since I can't afford Salah right now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,488 ✭✭✭Ordinary man

I've narrowed down son's replacement to 3 punty options - mahrez, moura and pogba. Mahrez usually gets points but pep is pep, moura should play but could disappear in games, pogba needs to get the headlines if he wants his transfer away. There's probably safer options but i think the right 1 of these could be a huge differential

No,was very deep and had one half chance and that was it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,129 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

Might go Son to Cantwell and leave myself a rake of cash.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,265 ✭✭✭COH

Plan was always Alli > Salah. Son > Salah a no brainer now.
Done early, not going to overthink this one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,654 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Might take a hit to rid myself of Kane as well as Son. Would allow me to get Salah and Mané double up. Best Kane replacement? Regret selling Jimi but his next 2 are tough. Ings I feel like I've missed the boat. Pukki sounds like he might haul soon but I already have Cantwell. Not really interested in going back to Abraham again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,036 ✭✭✭Pete_Cavan

I might just take a punt on Mahrez in for Son. Every one of the City players is going to miss some gametime over the next couple of GWs so just have to accept it. After this disaster of a GW I'm past caring tbh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

Tempted by Alli to Grealish but I'm fearing a backlash from Spurs against Brighton. It'd be such a Spurs thing to happen.

24 hours is a long time in FPL might just do Zaha to Grealish. Kane not setting the world alight either.

Tempted by this too. KDB will definitely be rested at some stage
