Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good to see Cronin and Ferg back in blue, you'd have to wonder how limited their time will be in the future given what's coming down the line. Looking forward to seeing Harry Byrne in his second start, and Tommy O'Brien gets his senior debut.

Even if you weren't being entirely serious, you'd have to back Leinster here.

For the record, this will not be on Premier Sports 1 in the Republic of Ireland.

Wow Leinster going with their big guns here for the win. International quality in both forwards and backs.

Ulster sending down a few young cubs to give them a run.

If leinster don't put 200 points on ulster here we can safely say that they are absolutely useless, their coaching team is hopeless, their fans are rubbish, their ground is pathetic and anyone who is from leinster or from leinster parents or grandparents is a complete and under waste of space.

Jack Aungier is out. Replaced on the bench by Roman Salanoa according to Leinster Twitter.

What if they put up 200 points and don’t win?

Would love one too. The one i found is a stuttering mess. And my IPTV is down. Maybe one of the ones on firstrowsports might work better for you than me

This could be forty plus. Byrne is a really classy player, great passing ability.

Takes the ball to the line really well too.

Have to say, Kelleher's having a strong game so far, decent wheels on him.

Was it him that passed to Kelleher there? 20 yard pass bang on to chest. Class chip then. Really seems to have it all. Hard to see Ross staying ahead of him much longer.

Yeah was a beautiful pass. Ross has been good, and obviously this isn't at the same level as most of Ross' games but Harry definitely seems to have a bit more of a spark about him when he has the ball.

First try for Henshaw in over a year.
Great chip by Byrne to make it.

    Absolutely woeful from Rob. Shocking.

Faddes is not a speedster but burned Kearney for pace.

Rather than going for the legs or the ankle tap he also tried to seatbelt tackle him as he was pulling away from him. Just absolutely dire stuff.

That’s probably the last thing Rob Kearney needed.

That Ulster try only pissed Leinster off.

    Harry Byrne, class......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,810 ✭✭✭✭bilston

As good as that was from Byrne, surely his offload to Cronin was forward?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,210 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Harry Byrne has been very, very good.

That line from Byrne was unreal to set that up. He's really sticking his hand up here.

Looked to be popped straight up

First halfs gone pretty much as expected, Byrne has been outstanding, Kelleher had some really nice breaks. Deegan carrying really well and a couple nice offloads.

Ulster will probably feel hard done by for the yellow and not checking the pass from Byrne to Cronin, and they're probably right.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

We’re just trying to score four tries and don’t give a crap how many leinster score.

Daft from O'Connor to be cursing at the ref when he's captain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,210 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That's a beaut of a pass from Harry Byrne.

Ulster employing the paper defense to full effect!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,721 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

At this point I'd give Harry a run against Lyon next month.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,688 ✭✭✭This is it

    Quick thinking. Good stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,210 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That's a bloody brilliant awareness from McFadden.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,091 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Not sure why I bothered my arse attending this. What a waste of time.

Take a bow Ferg. Can't teach that. Brilliant.

Ulster getting a proper fisting here.
