Get Conor Fitz on, Carty has been shocking apart from that offload in the first half 🀬

Trash... we just dont have the quality to challenge in this competition.

    10 point swing there.

Gloucester get away with a man lying on the Connacht side slowing it down and the next phase of play get the intercept try.

Ball was clearly available, but Blade acted the cretin.

That's three howlers in about 4mins.

Did Carty throw that intercept pass?

Yeah but you want your SH asking the question. It's a fine line.

Starting to go pretty badly now....

Carty struggling for form since coming back from the World Cup. Seems like he's been replaced in every game he's started recently.

Connacht lack power to really compete at this level. I mean they will win the odd game but that's it. Any money saved on Bundee's central contract should be spent in the pack.

3 turnovers for Bundee, it's like playing with an extra flanker. Warburton being impressed is very high praise

Very dissapointing from Connacht. Carty has really killed them.

Carty hasn't been on the pitch for 20 minutes?

How did we not score there? About 10 minutes camped on the Gloucester line. Granted they conceded 7 or 8 pens in a row.

That said I think that was probably a try.

    Dismal 2nd half, very disappointing.

Finally but no time to get within the bonus.

How is that spin on the ground legal from Roux

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,333 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Think we can beat Gloucester at home next weekend.

Very poorly managed last 10 minutes there. Not sure who ran the support line on that initial break, but if he runs a proper line, that's a try. Wasted so much time camped on the Glos line, didn't help that the ref was letting them get away with murder. How there wasn't after he said the ball was held up is a mystery.

That was referring to when he was on.

Carty really dug us into a hole there, tough on the lads to come off the bench to make an impact

Not being held, never stopped moving = momentum?

Really havent learned from our previous attempt at the heineken cup. Horrific game management. Going for 3 from a kick jack was never going to get before half time, nearly giving them a chance to score. Brain dead intercept forcing a pass when there was no need to. Wasting time camped on their line with a penalty advantage. Going for the corner at the end when there was a slight chance of a losing bonus if we took 3 and got the ball back.
Dont worry though we'll scrape a 3 point win next week and everyone will be delighted

Appalling display. And really dumb too. Why not take the three points on 76, 77 mins and then try for a try to get the losing bonus?

Connacht are going nowhere fast under this coaching team. They really are a very average side at the moment. Makes you wonder where they'd be if Keane was still there. It'd be into his third season in charge right now. It was pretty shameful how Nucifora had Keane kicked out after only a season to make room for his job-seeking buddy. This isn't soccer.

if you're going to come in here to spout conspiracy theory rubbish or your Nucifora agenda, kindly toddle off and do it elsewhere, but it won't be tolerated here.

Referees letting teams away with “double jeopardy” type infringements when defending during an advantage is a killer. I can recall only one occasion it was properly penalised, by Barnes and he’s never done it since. It’s a killer for teams trying to use the advantage.

It happened to us once too! Though I can't recall the ref.

Very very annoying, intercept try from their line literally the difference between winning and losing. That said Carty also absolutely made Porch's try...

Some fairly over the top reactions there to albeit a very stinging loss. Reckon we can beat them at home.
