The scripting at legendary level.in career mode would break your heart in this game. Hitting the post and bar from 6 yards time and again. Peolle making up 5 yards on mbappe to get a tackle in. My defenders being unable to win a ball 70 30% in their favour and they score with their 9nly w shots in the fame. 2-0 defeat. Go out and win the next game 5-0. Its just a rage inducing experience. Maybe there's no other way of increasing the difficulty until more sophisticated ai is available. I dunno

One of the worst games I've ever played!

They're not even trying to hide the fixing now. Win 10 games online in a row, lose 10 in a row, rinse and repeat!
Your players are invincible for your winning streaks, feels like you're controlling fat blobs who can't move for your losing streaks

Only the ultimate team people don't like it..
The gameplay is almost if not perfect. Seasons mode is brilliant.. Cup weekends are great fortnightly.. Iv won the ea shield, the ea Cup, Continental Cup..All I need is to win the Premier Cup.. Fantastic game.
Ultimate team is a money racket and not realistic.
Seasons is the best. Real teams.
Volta football is abit of fun.

First time in years iv bought this. Took over the little fellas Ps4.
Started carrer mode and took the West ham job.
Playing on professional level.
Brought in Grealish, Aaron's ( Norwich full back)
And Tyrres Campbell (19 year old Stoke striker)
Snodgrass and Lanzini gone so will have some money there to add to squad.
Played two preseason games and lost both.
Can't wait to get back to it tomorrow

Agree with this , it's a great game for me , I've never bothered with Ultimate team , just a load of bollocks to make you put more money into the game

It's a fantastic game offline. It's ultimate team that ruins it for me. It's basically a cross between a financial market simulator, a puzzle game and the football side of things come third. Add that to ridiculous pack rewards and a toxic community.

I moved to PES while it has its flaws it top tier players are very very easy to get.

This game has had more patches added to it than a quilt.

Every time I go to play it its a different game, EA don't know what they want or what direction to go in.

I've been playing Fifa since 2010 and loved all of them. I have to say, Fifa 20 is utter tripe. I can only guess it's a reaction to how negatively received 19 was, even though I thought it was great.

Also a career mode player myself, it’s definitely playable now after the patch but I’m still waiting for the November update before getting stuck into it, because they’ll add more player faces and managers in that one and they’ll improve a few more bits and pieces.

The game itself plays really well, and it’s a lot more challenging than last year on the higher difficulties.

I've had a few in ultimate team. Well they wear the shirt and have the crest. Was been cheeky one day and brought on Forrest and scored.... Did the sssssshhh celebration.... He then brought on an IF Defoe scored a hatrick.

Anyone got this on PC? I'm having loads of issues with the game getting stuck on loading screens, sometimes before matches other times when transitioning from one training drill to the next one.

So...first time I bought since '14, got a PS4 bundle. I've been having an issue playing in career mode when I make a substitution. I press 'options', make the substitution and press 'options' again to restart and the computer has taken over my team :-( I got to 'select side' and it tells me that I am in control of the team. Anyone else have this issue?

I feel like attributes mean something year. I love the unpredicability of it, for example when the opponent plays a long ball to the striker and Harry Maguire gets his head on most things but the ball could go anywhere. Before, you could use the pass button in situations like that.

The speed settings are as good as they can be imo. You'll never make it perfect in a game. Harry Maguire for example will get burned for pace but Smalling won't. I think it's set up well.

Goalkeeper saves are also better this year. Some fingertip saves flicked over the bar.

EDIT: Also feel like other teams have playstyles. I was playing a new promoted team and I was forcing them to boot the ball out of play in defence but the good teams like Spurs play it out from the back.

Totally agree. Pace is massive but again you can set your team up to counteract this. Some teams will play very deep narrow but will year you apart on the counter attack. For the first FIFA in years it seems like you have to adjust playing style. It's fun

I played a tournament in tour and beat the same team in QF, SF and Final. Weird
