Yep, just picked up a BT phone recently that had a call block feature. All my spam calls stopped. You'll need your phone cord with RJ-11 connections or an adapter.

On the topic, a no chat thread is a great idea and works fine if people can follow just a simple thing. Surely people can check carbon monoxide alarms themselves for prices and see if you can get it cheaper than what was posted? Like any other price comparison you'd do? Bargains get lost in a sea of chat, a lot of it re-posted over and over. There's room for both if it's used properly and not childishly taken off track.

The No Bargain, No post is the way to go.
