Pat Kenny once told Mario Rosenstock that Rosenstock's impression of him didn't quite reflect his voice. Rosenstock agreed but made the point that he wasn't trying to replicate Kenny's voice, it was a caricature, so you exaggerate some of the sounds and vocabulary, which was a fair point. But there probably has to be a balance between caricature and similarity, just like any cartoon, and the Boris character is definitely a bit off.
Haven't yet heard tonight's programme, but was disappointed with Callan's first show of the season, last week. You'd think the first programme of the season would be a high-water mark; I hope it won't be all downhill from here.0 -

This one is poor....in my opinion.
