No it’s not, it’s either a good impression or it’s not.
And whether or not it's a good impression is like arguing about which is a better colour - it's subjective.

And as I've said, the impression is not his best, but it's close enough.

Sorry, most of his others are excellent.

ML.. no.... too harsh, too aggressive, too high pitched.

    Nowhere near......

    Soz pal.

ML ... too harsh, too aggressive, too high pitched.
    Fair enough - as I've said it's not 100%.
    Nowhere near......
It's near enough to be recognisable.

35% with the wind behind him.

He has her as a ‘harridan’ type person.

    She’s nowhere near that.

Bit of a disappointing show this week considering the amount of material available, and I say this as a fan. Maybe my expectations were too high given the results and the reactions?

I loved the bit with all the fogeys on the terrible public transport. It could have done with being a longer one, seeing as it is election week. We got no Trump and Melania.

I liked his Twitter profile during the election. Great commentary.

I'd say he has her as a middle-class Dub pretending to be a salt-o'de-earth type, like so many others have done in different times and places.
It's an old trick. Some might even say it's an old disorder of the mind.

Whatever way he has her,Dan, it’s by far his worst, nowhere near.

Better up his game .....the way things are going.

That Liveline sketch was way funnier than this afternoon’s actual Liveline...which wasn’t too hard :D

To be honest, early last year she was a lot more abrupt and contrarian and he just never changed the voice to reflect her 'mellowing out' over the course of the year.

The Virgin Media/TV3 sketch was pretty funny.

I've said it before, I suspect he's on Da Lahv Lahn Thread - or at least reads it for some Joe Duffy inspiration so to speak and dat.....

Sorry Tiny, never got her even remotely right.

I told the tool the answer.. the rrrrs.....as in the paerrrty , the Gaarrrdee.

This is a Rathgar reared private school and Trinners attendee, not a fishwife.

Who does the tool think he is codding .

Lot of work to do.... deteriorating rapidly.

So, today Oliver Callan tweeted this: https://twitter.com/olivercallan/status/1236947223893757958
And just in case that tweet gets deleted, here is what is said:
Absolutely no need to cancel #StPatricksDayParade The risk of contracting Covid-19 remains very very low. Of course, at risk groups should stay away. The rest just need to wash our hands and go about our business. It’s a shame ppl love to be dramatic, and secretly long for panic.
I like Callan's Kicks, I find his take on things to (usually) be spot-on, but this is wrong. He has been taken to task on it on twitter in the replies to that tweet, and rightly so.

Callan, in my opinion is stepping out of his lane.

There are others in that field, one in particular, who seem to think they a commentators of a political nature.

Yeah, I agree. Sensitive and life-threatening topics like thiss should be left to the real experts - like Joe Duffy.

He must have a few paddywhackery gigs lined up for the 'festive' week that's in it.

I was surprised to see such utter mince being written by him.
I'm not worried myself, but I wonder how many of those in really vulnerable groups would be seriously adversely affected by the PD parades going ahead. I'm damn sure it would be a substantial number of avoidable deaths.
Ok, death isn't avoidable in the long run, but you knar wor Oy mean.

Don’t know why you are surprised Dan, this guy bangs the drum big time for a certain party.... and it’s not FG and FF.

Perfectly entitled to of course, but it’s nice to know where we stand.

That tweet was deleted, right enough; but here's a gist of what it was - the replies to it.

I'm not surprised that the tweet was deleted, but I am surprised that such foolishness was tweeted in the first place.

I wonder will he impersonate himself eating his words later?

That ‘Liveline’ sketch was good :)

To give him credit he put his hands up and admitted he was wrong. Not something others in RTE would do so easily.
