This eve I reconnected with a friend who I cut contact with and I was always sad about that. Just came away from a chat and coffee with her. Had a weird dose of something like what Leggy has been feeling. My enthusiasm for life goes on the blink more often in winter :D I'm smoking a woodbine...gave up giving up...never give up has always been my motto...:/

Ps very strangely, my friend called me just when I was moping dejectedly after reading the sentence from a book..."friends become strangers, lovers become distant memories".

Gracias for the Amazon Uk link for tequila. I need to win the lottery to get all the brands I want, heh.I still don't understand why it's so expensive here.

    Welcome :)
I tried to post 're. Woodbine but the boards glitch ate my comment. Woodbine were a brand of the original unfiltered cigarettes which were common until about the 1950s, I think. If only the nicotine demon could be satisfied with a twig :)

Weekly walk with neighbour over ... it’s fast chatting at a quick pace. This Bumbóg is going to be positively angelic for November. My body won’t know what’s hit it. Trouble is, in December I’m already planning the opposite!

I think it's best that I stay away from alcohol, it's not a good companion of self-pity and I have to drive in the morning.
Hope you feel better about things. But in the meantime allow Vicente Fernández ease your mind, heh.

Derbyshire has some interesting places, Grandeod...were you there?. Hmm...videos of the Ladyblower portal to he'll? It's enough just knowing it's out there...!
It was in the news recently when a couple of men went "perilously close" in those boats you stick your feet out the bottom of. Or maybe they use those boats for inspections or something but anyway two lunatics were bobbing on the edge of the Plughole.

I'm thinking what 5o do next, drinking tea yet again :) REM End of the world as we know it is haunting me.

I was there in the mid 90s. Holed up in Sheffield for a weekend. A local friend brought me out to it via a general Peak District drive. I googled it recently and found loads of videos of lads exploring it from below. I only walked along the path above it. But yeah, its scary looking. Vartry reservoir in Wicklow has one. Not as scary.

Winding down at the Kitchen table after a long day.
