The canary islands being a part of the atlantic trade route

Mr Christopher Columbus even stopped there heading around the world to China, until he got stopped by America.:D

Even Cliff Richard made it there in 1963 while shooting his film, Wonderful life.:D

It has more facts than a sun sea and sex holiday!

I've had that experience before. It is very annoying.

Never been on a cruise before but I'm curious now.

A small natural harbour below Icod called San Marcos, was famed for the quality of the galleons that were built there.

Playa San Marcos! Very hidden. I visited it a few years ago and by accident on a drive around the Island. Never knew Galleons were built there. A really wonderful part of Tenerife is the area around Icod. I lived in the South. Warmer in Winter.;)

At one stage my hands stopped working. I got referred to Occupational Therapy .

I thought WTF good it that

    I was very wrong :)

A couple of half hour 1-2-1 sessions showing me exercises was a good start but in my case the real winner was a pair of compression gloves to wear at night ! ( I was told that not everyone benefits from these as much as I did - so dont get your hopes up :D )

Do you have access ( email / phone ) to a rheum support nurse ?

In bed with my heart rate finally back to normal after watching the Irish women’s hockey team beat Canada. Thrilled they’re going to the Olympics. Can’t wait for my own teams training session tomorrow night :D

Back home on the couch. Great weekend away with the smallies and OH, I might(definitely) have indulged in the late night boozing, when your 3 year old is standing on your face under the water in a swimming pool and the chlorine is burning your eyes out, then you know how much they mean.

Love your replies Mam of 4, very gracious, I hope they (the 4) know good they have it or how lucky they were

I've only scanned the last few pages and I also was wondering who the lady blower was or perhaps she was the blowers daughter?? :)

Today went quietly. It lashed rain from morning and the dogs still insisted in walking me out in it. Afterwards I relaxed by watching reruns of Steptoe & Son from 1974! They were two excellent actors, lots of pathos and emotion in the humour.

Heading to the bedside now and sleepy. Night everyone.

Fair play. It's totally a pain. But you do seem to be on it. You just have to post a pic of your hat when you're done.

    Oh I will for sure!

Currently bedside, the night seems to have gotten away from me a little bit, it’s later than I thought it was
