Qué parte vivías en mi amigo

The so so wonderful Canary Islands. Such of mix of the local Guanches and Spanish culture. Weird and wonderful once you weren't in a tourist resort.

Oh a family issue , where it looked like it was heading towards a physical altercation tbh . Tempers cooled this morning , and although it's not perfect , at least they're back talking :)

Thank you all for listening to my ramblings , and your positive thoughts , much appreciated :o
Ok will tell you something that I did today that may make you smile if you can believe it,I was at a traffic light beside what you call a boy racer, blaring some rap song.

Now I drive a 99 Civic, she it's the prettiest gal but has a great stereo system. So I pop in my Mariachi cd as loud as I can.Drowning out his music. And I wish I had a camera to capture the look of shock and disbelief.

    That's just how I roll.heh.

I wish you the best,Kitty.Your very focused and independent, and I commend you, in all honesty.
Yah. It's not so easy, but so worth your time! Wait 'till you have the thing bound and sent off. It's like finishing exams x 1,000!

Thank you both, it means a lot, truly! I find it I don’t do anything on it for a while my mind starts making it into this huge thing and I start freaking out about it. But once I get back to it I get a lot more chilled out because I see it for what’s in front of me, and not one huge thing. Will be glad to see the back of it though!

What is with the evening!? Can I offer you some Tequila? I mean, I don't have any, but it's the thought that counts. Or else I have really good homemade soup. Which would fit great in a shot glass.

Fair play. It's totally a pain. But you do seem to be on it. You just have to post a pic of your hat when you're done.

You can't mix Tequila with soup. Pretty sure that constitutes a crime against humanity. As you all say, The shame of it all,heh

    Ok that's confused me,heh.

Your Spanish is different to mainland Spain. The Canary Islands have a more latin American dialect, assuming you are South American.

Nope its not odd at all. You are Mexican. That's South America to me. As in not part of the USA or Canada. Anyway it's Latin America and your version of Spanish is similar to the Canary Islands because it was a stop off point on the early trade routes to places like Mexico, before it was Mexico. All I'm saying is the Mexican Spanish dialect is similar to the Canarian Spanish dialect.

Main commercial town of NW Tenerife ( serious banana plantation area ). Not exactly a tourist town but as it has the main bus station of the NW its a great base if you want to walk the hills of the Teno region.
