Sitting in agony. Pulled a muscle in my back while in the garden an hour ago. Heat pack, anti inflammatory, and wincing.

Oh no nothing worse than that :(
Hot water bottle too when the heat pack is gone

2 paracetamol for breakfast, troops dropped and collected from training, copious amounts of coffee consumed, I should really blitz the housework now but finding it difficult to motivate.

@Srameen..if you can get a tube of Biofreeze (similar but better than deep heat imo)it might help with the pain.

"If I could only find a note to make you understand, I'd sing it softly in your ear and grab you by the hand, just keep it stuck inside your head like your favourite tune, and know my heart's a stereo that plays only for you..."

    Dancing in the kitchen, lol

Might sound mad but a hairdryer on low heat aimed at the painful spot...

Srameen, you need to take some valium or xanax or some such, because it is a relaxant, it allows your muscles relax enough so antiinflamatory can work, been there!
( best to take before sleep)

Seph, ahh am ok, just some D&Ms coming up

    Couchside after a second snooze.

Srameen, alternate heat with ice packs to get your circulation going through the muscle.

Well I've been listening to WHAM!'s "Last Christmas" so someone's going to have to find an extra set of stocks and rotten vegetables to throw at us.

High stool. Home bar. Grocery shop done. Candles lit. Heating on. A big pizza on standby for the girls. A fresh one! Fillet steak for me later.

    Love weekends without work.

Went to the library and got loads of books. Making a lovely Thai red curry at the mo and then spending the rest of the night on the couch reading with my cats.

    Time for the work trundle

I know you miss daytime Grem with work and I spend most of the year missing weekends. Such is the way some of our work lives are set up. I have a Saturday night off and Mrs G has no interest in anything. Very Grumpy too. I've gone from a happy post earlier to feeling crushed.:o

Couchside watching the telly with a beer in hand. A wet one outside.
BTW Grandeeod, congrats on your work decision and hope it all works out in January:)
