Is there any chance that Japan can join the six nations? Would really liven it up.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Japan getting exactly what they want from blocking and frustrating the SA chasers. Forcing them into making mistakes.

Japan have had possession but all the play is in their own half. SA will be more than happy with that.

South Africa are showing how to do this.

The amount of blocking Japan do when SA put up a kick is off the chart.
Don't get me started about the breakdown.

Wan Der Walt replaces Thompson: two trueblood Japanese there:P

    No chance.

    Possibly the seven nations.

Japan will be in trouble for the rest of the game at scrum time with Kitshoff and Koch on.

That kind of situation does my nut in. Player clearly off feet interfering with the ball, delaying the scrum half getting it away. He's told eventually to leave it, and then another player comes in and clears out. How is that not a penalty to SA? It only happened because a player off his feet had hands on the ball.

    No chance.

    Possibly the seven nations.
The White Stripes could do the theme tune.

Can't see Japan coming back now. They're looking tired. This is the first game where they haven't had more rest than the opposition, right?

    That's a surprise. Shouldn't miss those.

Stop with the up and under kicks and just kick to the corners. SA winning every lineout anyway.

A brutal exhibition of why it is foolish to think speed, flair and entertainment value is enough to win you a World Cup to follow now methinks.

Accumulation of games. They were like this against Scotland in the last 20m.

You still need to be a good enough and powerful enough team to contain it though. Ireland couldnt do it

So will it be a final of two NH or S. Hemisphere?

I don’t think anyone thought they were going to win the World Cup. They are bloody good to watch though. I fancy the boks to grind out the win now I think, hope I’m wrong though.

Got his team mate nailed there with that pass.:)

SA are a more evolved version of us.

Look like a shot from Le Roux instead of a wrap.
Soft high tackle on Japan, de Klerk really looking for it.

You need to have the ability to chance your game up, flair and structured are both essential, and choosing when you use them also essential

Probably a penalty for seatbelt tackle. But hard on player, little wrong with attempt. No malice

    Japan's sushi is cooked.

Should Kolbe be penalised there? He dumped a guy over his shoulder, with no ability to control how he landed...

Looked like two yellow card incidents there

One thing that is also standing out to me is that we would have had a much better chance vs SA than NZ.

I know that might have been clear even before this game but its defo now for me.

Hmm...a bit like watching an earnest school team tbh. Pretty naive in a lot of ways and I fully believe now refs are giving them a pass on a lot of stuff.
