Just tuning in now. Am I losing my mind, or am I hearing fans chanting stand up for the japanese??

Not much to choose between these two teams. Amazing how much Japan have progressed.

Japan starting to run out of ideas and room?

Be interesting when rassie will send on the bench. Surely around 50mins send on a fresh tight 5.

Japan have decent impact off the bench too. The forward with the bleached beard made a huge impact last week.

Might run out of battered players. Saffers a bit headless in their approach.

SA doctor shouting instructions into the lineout there

I think SA bulk is going to go against them after 60mins. The japs will go forever.

Japan getting away with multiple crooked line out throws.

Willie Le Roux is a liability.

It's the speed at which they do everything that confuses refs!

    Slippy strikes again

South Africa are they're own worst enemy here. Should be another 2 tries up by now.

    Why not? Northern Hemisphere.

They come to Europe for 3 weeks and play their 3 away games in a row. Then 3 of the existing Six Nations travel over each year so every team goes once every 2 years.

You have Pro14 playing in South Africa. This is further but still definitely doable.

Would be harsh on the likes of Georgia but I'd love to see it happen

Personally , it's good that , in the main , northern hemisphere Rugby is condensed in Europe, for time zones.

All the Southern hemisphere countries are thousands of miles apart, let them at it. Japan are more of a Pacific Island team than a european one anyway.

Do we really want to be bringing jet lag and big time zone differences in to the 6 nations?

Plus, you're effectively doing away with away fans travelling for the games.

What about looking at SA moving to the 5 nations? Still lots of travel but at least the time zone works.

Either way you're riding roughshod over more established countries like Fiji who deserve to be in line for a help up

I feel like I've watched two halves so far

An hour to complete the first half. This is getting ridiculous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,569 ✭✭✭mugsymugsy

That should have gone to TMO.

Too big a call obviously on field could have said no try but want to double check.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,491 ✭✭✭A-Train

Don’t agree with Barnes call there. He broke the tackle, try should have stood.

Never held there. Refereeing has become one sided in Japan's favor towards the end of that half.

South Africa should be up by about 20 though without any help from the referee.

Thought Japan looked tired over the last ten minutes of the half.
