Thank You... My Mother and my Grand-daughter so Child and Great Grandmother.

Especially poignant for me as I have another gorgeous photo of a previous grand-daughter with my mother and father, who has since passed away, but unfortunately that grandchild is also RIP ( and is RIP in the photo) so photo is for private use only.....
It's on my wall and strikes everyone that sees it but it'll never go any further despite pleas from family and friends. Too raw.

All the same, this one made a great print - even though I say so myself !!

I have to say though that Adrian Sadliers photo is something else. Superb …

It's in St. Anne's Park on the North side of Dublin. The Park runs alongside the coast and is easily accesible from the city centre. I hope it is of some use to you and your partner. Feel free to use the files and share them as much as you like - the only restriction is "commercial usage" - if someone wants to make money off my work then I want "my share"

I always try to put the EXIF data (including location) on any platform I post my images on.

If any of my photos enable someone else to get a good shot then I am delighted! Hopefully I can learn something from their interpretation of the scene

Same here. I find that having a seasonal topic too closely aligned with the challenge period makes it impossible to get a good photo taken and entered before the end-date. The extra lead time doesn't necessarily help when the deadline's too close to peak shooting opportunities. I think I'll have the same difficulty with with the January challenge - it's hard to get into the "cold" mentality when temperatures are in the mid-teens!
