Is it my imagination or are the photos getting bigger? Has there been a change in the max size limit?

Not having a go Adrian but with a quick look back over the last 2 pages, your flower photo is the largest, It's the full height of a smartphone screen :-)
I still do mine 800px largest size but portrait orientated ones seem larger when posted.

Not having a go:

My flower is posted at 450x800 pixels - probably the smallest over the last two pages.

The dog is posted at 683 x 1024 pixels.

The cat is posted at 1042 x 1599 pixels.

The limit on boards is 800px longest side.

Your phone may be scaling the images and my photo suits the aspect ratio of a phone in portrait mode.

Check it on a PC or MAC and you will see I am correct.

I never said, or THOUGHT, that your photo was over the size limit.
I just found it amusing, as noted by the smiley, that yours, about 3 times longer than mine on screen, seemed to confirm your point for you.

Your wooden dog photo also takes a few clicks of the mouse wheel to go from top to bottom at 100% on my pc, but I'm quite sure its also within the size limits.
